Pharmacy 4 Less Hornsby Late Night Chemist

Tried to purchase cold and flu tablets here and was treated like a junkie by the male pharmacist.I had purchased some 5 days prior and they come with 4 days worth. As my cold had not recovered I asked for a pack. The pharmacist said he was not allowed to sell them to me, provided guidance that they don't work after 4 days, and told me my only recourse was to see a doctor. I intended to see the doctor but he still wouldn't sell to me, and from what I've now read also provided me with false information.Looks like trend according to some of the other reviews here. Won't be coming back.

The pharamcist/chemist (male, middle-aged) treated with me such disregard yesterday. He couldn't find my script that was sent via email and I had to contact my neurosurgeon to send it again, which they did promptly. When I told him that it should have arrived (as I was Cc'd into the email this time) he told me to sit down, and just served other customers and didn't bother letting me know if my script was being prepared (it was not). 45 minutes later (after all customers were served) still no response, nothing. A lady behind the pharamcy counter asked me if I was served and I replied no. Then was my script organised and he gave them to me. He was the rudest, most awful human to deal with ever in Pharmacy/Chemist. He needs proper training in customer service and treating people equally and with respect.May I just point out though, that the lady at the counter (where you pay for your items) is ALWAYS friendly and cheerful. She is amzing and always a delight to encounter. Pity about the Pharmacy counter at the back.UPDATE: The manager contacted me to let me know that they have taken a firm action since my formal complaint lodged. I am grateful for the quick response by the manager. I hope this will make the experience better.

Staff are really great. Except for my recent dealings with Steve. He would not fill my script and had the audacity and rudeness to tell me to calm down (he was having a bad day as he was dealing with another customer who did not have an actual script from the hospital for morphine and needed to ring them on a Sunday to sort out). After waiting patiently for 30min was told he did not have the stock, but it was the specialists problem as he did not indicate the appropriate repeat cycle and the script could not be issued by any pharmacy as it was incomplete. Took the script to another pharmacy who issued it straight away (if Steve had read the script correctly he would see that the repeat cycle was actually typed on the script). Sorry for the poor review as the other staff are actually really lovely.

So thankful that Pharmacy 4 less is open till 10pm! Great range and epic prices! Building is looking a bit tired but has everything you need!

Pharmacy 4 More. Got charged more than what was listed on the ticket price for the item displayed on the shelf because their staff are too lazy to change price tags.

I have been going to Pharmacy 4 Less for quite a while as my parents source all their medication from it. In all my dealings with the pharmacy we found it very professional, willing to help, accommodating and friendly. The staff always welcome us with a smile on their faces.

I went at 9:40 pm on 26 June, the timing displayed on the door said opened till 10:00 pm but door was locked and on knocking the guy came and then put a note on door that stocktake was happening and could not serve.

This pharmacy is definitely a strong competitor for the friendliest and most helpful pharmacy in town. They are open long hours (8am-10pm 24/7) and pretty much every day of the year. They are my go to for those late night runs for paracetamol, nappies etc. They have a vast range of products at competitive prices including vitamins, make up, sunglasses etc. Parking out front can be tricky but there is ample parking out back in the council carpark. It has a small step to enter so can be difficult for wheelchairs but prams can probably navigate it.

I came in last night Friday 17th 8pmish to fill a script and my doctor had misspelt the pharmacy's email. (Completely on me, obviously I can't get it without correction).I have never come across anyone in a public facing role more disinterested than the pharmacist working. He was awful, gave one word replies before walking off before having to be called back about 5 times. We basically had to chase him down so that he would give us the correct email. This guy didn't want to give me more than 2 seconds of his time.I felt more welcome and got better service at the chicken shop next door.Ive never filled a script before so i likely did need more help than normal, but repeatedly saying no" and walking away without any attempt to help is pretty poor form.I'm going out of my way to avoid this place."

My elderly Chinese neighbour speaks limited english, said that she got shortchanged $10 by the cashier for her regular medicine (paid $17.30 for a $7.30 medicine that she uses long term). She paid in cash but the cashier insisted she used a $10 bill not a $20. Frustrating for someone in her position who cannot communicate to clear things out.Not sure how I should go about verifying this, but until I seek out some way to confirm that this was just a mix-up on the shop's part, I'll be keeping this review here. She's a sweet lady who grows lovely tomatoes.
