Terrible customer service. Ordered in July 2021 and have not received order due to COVID (fair enough) however have not received any updates or communication unless I have contacted the store. The track my order function had the incorrect delivery address and phone number assigned and then they lost a payment of $1000. I had the store call to tell me it was assigned to another account and the accounts dept tell me I never made the payment when it has come out of my account (I sent them my bank statement). Terrible customer service.

I will never ever feel comfortable purchasing from Nick Scali again.This matter has been going on for nearly three months and is still unresolved. I have been honest and very patient whilst explaining to several people and several times that the table I have received has a minor defect (chip) and was likely installed improperly (without all the washers). A Nick Scali representative (who wore flip flops to my home) had the audacity to claim that I can not prove such a thing and that it can not be resolved so there's nothing they can do. Why would anyone in their right mind make it up? That hurt a lot and it felt personal.I have written multiple emails, sent multiple photographs and have talked to so many people regarding these issues to no avail. On the phone everyone seems to agree this is improper, yet nothing is being done about it and I found out today the matter was closed even though I had a new service appointment booked mid December, no one showed up.I also still have no explanation by Nick Scali as to why there are 8 washers in the packaging and 5 were left behind? This is a heavy table (NW 80kg) and I don't feel comfortable knowing that it may have been installed improperly and not to manufacturers standards.Please just take this table away and replace it with one I can assemble on my own so I know it is done right and put this matter to bed. It's not worth it's weight in gold to make a customer jump through hoops to just give them less than what they paid for.

Not happy. Mackay store was very quick to up sell insurance with my sofa. When I went to make a claim it felt like they were doing me a favour. Then without any communication and 6 weeks later I was told that they were not honouring my insurance claim. Numerous photos and texts later by me, the issue is not resolved. Office of Fair Trading will be my next stop.

It wouldn’t be so bad if they just give you an honest delivery date. If I knew it would be minimum of 24 weeks I would have went elsewhere. I Ordered mid august so mid November was my 14 weeks delivery date. 14 weeks was quoted when ordering which I was ok with. I thought worse case I will have it by Christmas. End of October the status changed to ‘in transit’. The date then got moved from mid November to ‘mid January’. I asked for an update on 9th Jan and was told ‘23 Jan due into warehouse’. I then asked for an update on 18th Jan and have now been told ‘week of 3rd Feb’, 3rd of feb is a Friday which is 24 weeks since ordering. I highly doubt 3rd of feb will happen. The service in store was great, but be prepared to wait at least 6 months for your lounge.

Love the quality of the products. But the customer service of the ladies at the desk and over the phone is very poor. I feel like the ladies are treating me like I am taking their products for free. You cannot choose delivery date and there will always be some delay - can take upto 6months.

Poor customer service. 3 employees sitting on their phones, not bothered to serve us or other customers the 2 times we came into the store. 4-5 week delay to get order with a potential of another 4-5 week to deliver on top of that. Read your agreement closely, they will take your deposit if you cancel your order for any reason. When notified that chairs where being dispatched from the second holding warehouse, information to delivery location was incorrect on not one but two occasion. They won't answer their phones on weekends and when trying to get delivery sorted, got transferred on the phone 7 times before it got fixed. Chairs eventually turned up with one seat damaged. Overall experience with this group poor. Do not recommend buying anything from them.

I ordered 2 couches in June 2021 and was told delivery would be 10-12 weeks maybe a couple more due tp covid.I have received a couple of different delivery dates since then, including 1 that said delivery would be 23/03/22 and I should pay the balance of the bill at least 48 hours prior to delivery.Against my better judgement I paid this early and the following day given a new delivery date of 29/04/22. This is going to be at least a 10 month lead time on our order at this rate. Not happy!! Not going back. Only order from them if you don't need it

UPDATE: After their team made contact with me, I went around in circles to get any communication on what they would do to resolve the problem. The manager said that their 4 month delay wasn’t late. Higher up manager said they would refund delivery costs. I sent details and heard nothing back again.We ordered a couch and a rug in June 2022, was told there were some delays, probably 10-weeks, 15 at most.We were told this was due to covid, honestly we thought that was the assistant making sure they didn’t over promise.. They under promised. We were at LEAST expecting the couch and rug to arrive before Christmas, as we’d ordered 6 months early. Nope. We will still not have our couch until the 17th of JANUARY 2023. We also need to pay the driver $125 cash, for this super speedy delivery.This isn’t our only complaint… the rug we ordered, was on clearance. We were told we’d be getting new stock. Then we got an email in September saying our rug was damaged in transit and to come in to sign a floor stock form, and I was very clearly told (before I could even ask) that no further discount could be given, even though we originally weren’t buying floor stock. Fine. I go in to look and sign. No one has any idea what’s going on, no, you won’t be getting floor stock.ok. A couple weeks later, can you come look at this floor stock rug and sign this paper. Went in again to look and sign. And the rug didn’t come off the floor then, so it’s been sitting in store since then, still being used so who knows what’s happened to it since I signed to say it was ok.I also called customer complaints in early December and was put to shipping who just lied and said “you’ll have sometime before the end of December” I asked “Will Christmas effect that will it be December or January” he said “December definitely or maybe January”…. Really unhappy, especially considering the price.

Nick Scali are the worst company I have ever dealt with! Took six months to deliver and it was damaged (sat submerged in water for extended period). Took another six months to deliver replacement and now they won't give me my bought and paid for lounge because I got rid of the water damaged stinking old lounge. Their customer service" flatly refuses to give me my lounge. Never order from this disgusting business."

Steer clear from these stores! Disgraceful service, late deliveries, items damaged, they refused to give a refund! I spoke to online sales and a store person and both were so rude that it left me shaking.
