Location is in heart of Richmond. Restaurant interior is fairly average and dated. Not exactly fine dining, infact it could pass as cafeteria as style. Ambience and decor is average. Needs an upgrade.Staff are very friendly and professional. Orders were taken quickly. Service was great and food came quickly.Food was excellent and raises the overall standard of restaurant. Oysters are fresh. Prawns are large, fresh, and juicy plus peeled down to tails. Hot platter is fresh, filled with variety of clams, muscles, potato salad, crumbed prawns, salmon, fried fish, and fried calamari. We ordered side dishes of sourdough bread, chips, and Greek salad.We had no room for dessert which is rare for us. It’s was 4 start experience overall.

Super tasty and decent service, had a great experience here and would def come back. Ordered one serving of fish&chips (gummy shark was great) and a grazing platter , was more than enough for 2

One of my all time fave restaurants! The food is all delectable and the staff are all so kind and really do everything to make you enjoy your meal. It is on the pricier side but I think the prices are very fair for the quality of the seafood.

Food excellent but when 2 received their meals the other 2 waited quite a while to receive theirs. We ordered 1 desert but were charged for 2 so make sure you check the bill. Also staff were not very friendly and looked like they wanted to be anywhere except at work. The girl behind the bar was the only one who smiled and made us feel welcome. The food when it turned up excellent though.

Took the family here for birthday dinner and was a great night out. My advice is the seafood platter for 2 is suited for 3 people, and platter for 4 for 5 people. There were 4 of us and we did the platter for 4 and we did not finish everything, not for the lack of trying. Fair to say that the platter is huge.The seafood platter is great, the highlights for me were the half lobster with cheese, the croutons were exceptionally good and Moreton bay bugs.Staff were very attentive and came to clean our table regularly, providing wet towels, bins to dispose of rubbish.

Located on Church St. We were there for a food and wine pairing event by Mollydooker. Restaurant was a little dated, but the service was excellent. Food was generous and tasty. The paella was cooked to perfection. Will definitely recommend this restaurant to others. Parking can be difficult when busy.

The grazing platter was really grand. We added extra octopus, (which was nice enough), and crumbed prawns… which were FABULOUS!!! In fact probably the best prawns I’ve had anywhere in Melbourne. Staff were excellent, booking was easy, walk-ins are welcomed warmly and the ambience is just right, a great blend of fine and casual dining. I have no doubt they take great pride in their work at Richmond Oysters! P.S. They have a great range of fish and other seafood on hand.

A must try seafood bistro. Fresh seafood, best oysters! Helpful and friendly staff Sam. Will definitely come back! We had a great brunch. Highly recommended⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
