Australia Post - Collingwood North LPO

Negative stars required, I received online notification to pick up parcels from the office, they can't find it .....again.No point calling them (tried 42 times ) as their phone reverts to the fax machine and messages left on answering machine are not responded to. That masterful invention by Alexander Graham Bell is wasted on this lot, the phone/fax user manual perhaps lost and foresaken amongst the abundance of missing parcels.This post office is the missing layer in Dante's Inferno - a special hellish place from which neither parcel nor mail shall ever return. Abandon hope all ye who enter here!Item was sent back to sender within a week of arrival - no collection card - no reminder was ever sent.

Terrible experience. The man at the counter is extremely rude and hardly helpful. I get anxious every time I miss my postie as I have to go into this centre to collect my post. So disorganised, slow and rude.

Totally concur with other one star reviews, this place is a shocker. The old man needs to avoid customer service but his colleagues are not much better. I cringe every time I miss a delivery and see the card advising my package has been sent to my local post office. Service is slow and incompetent. Avoid if possible

The service here is SO SLOW I’ve waited to post packages here twice and had to wait ages I swear it takes them 10 minutes plus to serve one customer. After waiting around the lady always tells me to tape up my own box like I haven’t got other things to do after waiting around.

Worst post office ever, the old man is very slow. He doesn't answer the phone or check his fax or emails. He can't find anything in his shop and repeatedly asks the same question

The older guy who works at the Collingwood North LPO and who I'm assuming runs it is extremely incompetent lacks basic social skills and has no concept of customer service. Blacklist this post office.

The worst post office I’ve ever dealt with.I don’t know what bad karma has caused all of my packages to suddenly be re-routed here, but my quality of life has decreased tenfold since this happened. They lose stuff all the time, they send stuff back early to the sender and it takes them forever to find anything. It genuinely needs closing down. Avoid dealing with the old man if possible he is shockingly slow and not suited for a customer-facing role.

The man working there is so rude and clearly doesn’t want to do his job. My parcels constantly get sent there and they take a while to find it. The shop is very unorganized and I am concerned they will lose my parcels.

I haven’t been disrespected like this for a while now. I have been waiting in line for over 20 MINS, just for an old man worker to deal with 3 customers ahead of me. When it was finally my turn, he told me to “come back tomorrow” as he “couldn’t be bothered finding it”, as there was a huge line behind. Like what kind of customer service is this. I waited for my turn, spent 20 mins and then was rejected and told me to leave? New owners or shut this post office down.

old man is absolutely horrible, so rude, so dismissive after berating me i had to refuse to leave for him to even attempt to find my package in which he did in less than 5 minutes. the young man is nice however the old man needs to pack it up and retire at this point. waiting over 10 minutes in a line of 3 people is ridiculous just to get told you’re wrong. Honestly if you’re able to, redirect your package elsewhere it isn’t worth going here
