What I needed: Lodge my personal tax return and get some advice on taxation related to my new full time job that i started fresh out of uni.What I got: Same day appointment, fast and hassle free lodgement, to the point advice on what i need to do for future taxation related stuff. Got all this done in my 1 hour lunch break. Even got a bit of advisement on what to do with money in the future.Highly recommended.

I couldn’t recommend the FinTax Group enough! The team were incredibly helpful when it came to lodging my tax return this year. They not only provided a quality service, but also best advised me on how to best manage my tax and expenses for the following year.

sequence of events:1. Got tax done.2. Hadn’t received money after 2 1/2 weeks.3. Called to find out why and was told there was an ‘error with their system’, so she forgot.4. Spent a week so far trying to actually see her, called multiple times on mobile and landline, as well as walking up (after telling the lady I was coming) and buzzing for 10 minutes.I have not gotten a single returned call and I told her to cancel everything as there is no point paying someone to do something I can do myself. I needed the money last week.It’s not the issue that the agent forgot, it’s that I have been ignored and now that I don’t want them to do it, being ignored in what I assume are an attempt to wait another 2 weeks where I just accept it when I have the money. I don’t want these people doing my tax and I’ve told them that. Will be find an ombudsman or something to resolve this. I’m not paying someone to ignore me.Outside of this, they seemed okay. Relatively reasonable.

I am very happy with the service provided by the tax agent that looked after my accounts at FinTax Group. They were very efficient and thorough and prepared my tax calculation very quickly. I will be using their services again next year.
