It's quite a spectacular tree and a good stop if you're passing by on the highway. You can't climb anymore, however the Bicentennial Tree is taller and can be climbed. There is some interesting history about the tree.If you've been to the Gloucester and Bicentennial trees, not much point going here

Even though the tree has now been retired, as it is no longer safe for the public to conquer its trunks, it is still nice to stop by. There is a short trail here that takes you a little bit around, and even though you can argue that it looks the same as all the other trails, they're all good so why not walk this one too?

Really enjoyed climbing this tree. Was a little terrifying but because the steps were so solid, it helped calm the nerves. The rest stop half way up was really helpful to take a breath. The view at the top was amazing!

Great place. This was our first stop of four days camping in the region and we loved it. Climb up is steep and challenging. My 11 year old boy could only go up to midway but the view was worth it at the top.

Great picnic spot and a good walking track. The tree can no longer be climbed.

Diamond Tree
Locate not far from the main town and only a few metres off the main turn off from the sign. The area is very scenic, nice spacious parking, toilet facility and of course relaxing walking track. Sadly the tree can’t be climb now.

A shame that this lookout tree can no longer be climbed due to safety - hopefully they'll find a way (a long ladder) past the first unstable section some day.Still worth a look on your way down to others like the Gloucester Tree

Sooooo cool. You can climb the tree if you are brave enough. There's a midway point to rest before you get to the top. Really neat!
