Stopped for fuel, and had lunch and a beer. The woman serving us was very friendly and a character...lunch was nice and service was great.

Awful bed, long overdue for retirement, and no kettle. When I asked for a kettle, I was told they aren't issued because the generator can't handle the load.??? This despite there being a 4-plug power point next to the bed. The kitchen offered hot water from 0600, but I needed to leave at 0530. Luckily, my neighbour, who'd stayed there before, brought his own kettle, and sorted me out. Considering the relative room price, if you have an option, take it.

Stop for lunch. Chef and staff were great. Fish and chips was good too. Sandwiches and wraps looks good and fresh but we didn't try. Will definitely be back!

Filled up for fuel $158 and went to the toilet after reading the sign out front saying for customers and fuel purchases only… to then be rudely told as we walked out that “we aren’t allowed to use the toilet unless we purchased something, but will let you off this time” with a sarcastic laugh… we explained we purchased fuel and still not even a sorry… if I knew they would be rude would have went 50km down the road… we weren’t desperate! Stop treating people poorly, it’s not a good look!!

Billabong Homestead Hotel Motel
We were looking for a starting point to our tour to Dirk Hartog, coming from Perth. Billabong Homestead was the perfect location with a manageable drive from Perth and we could still be on the track to Steep Point before 10am.Not unpacking the camping gear (yet) and enjoying a dinner plus beer at the restaurant was a clear plus. Service was friendly and the kids enjoyed the pool table.Rooms were clean and functional.

Very friendly and helpful, stayed overnight and had dinner. I am coeliac but eating glutenfree was not a problem at all, the chef was very informed. Thank you!

Billabong Homestead Hotel Motel
Unexpected surprise. We stayed at the hotel (little donga type rooms) which were ok but the real surprise was our dinner. We had the pork belly with steamed veg, mash and sauce. It was probably the best pork belly I have had. Crispy crackle, juicy and tender inside. The mash was real homemade and the sauce (whatever it was) was delicious. 5 stars for food. 3 stars for accommodation. Only because rooms are basic and small. Although clean and suitable for a quick overnight stay.

A large open area of powered sites. No water available. Some shade trees but mostly open to the sun that was pelting out 45C temps. It's next to the BP roadhouse (used to be Shell). Rear access to the roadhouse for meals or a cold beer. Basic toilets with showers. Good only for an overnight stop.

Very rude. Accused of not purchasing anything when we used the facilities. Upon providing receipt of fuel purchase, lady was too gutless to acknowledge their abrupt mistake. Avoid this place.
