Living overseas when purchasing property can often be daunting and my wife and I were concerned about how we would manage. I’ll be honest, without Steve Janes, I don’t think we could have!We highly recommend Steve as a buyers advocate as he got to know us personally, understood our requirements (and limitations) and guided us through EVERY step of the process from the very beginning, to picking up the keys of our Townhouse! Extremely professional and supportive throughout the entire process, Steve was also extremely patient with us when we were stressing out completing all the paperwork! HahahaSteve has a step-by-step process, which worked perfectly for us being overseas and was also able to recommend an amazing solicitor and building inspector. He provided us with in-depth analysis of the suburbs and properties and we always felt he had our best interests at heart eventually helping us settle with the best deal possible!

Horrible experience. Stay away - especially from the property manager Sabrina. We were bullied and lied to when moving out. There was evidence we leased and property with damage and we still had to fight to get our bond money back. Please make sure you take plenty of close up photos if you end up leasing with these penny pinchers. We had to escalate the issue otherwise it was costing us thousands of dollars. Gerard has been instrumental in assisting in renting the property. Gerard is excellent and very friendly nature. I highly recommend utilising your Australian Property either buying or renting, with his expert service.Gerard did a fantastic job finding the right property for me.It is absolute pleasure talking and coordinating with him, very helpful and supportive and provide experts opinion.

My experience with them managing my property was not positive. When they make a mistake you won’t hear sorry but instead will hear: ‘we have another 300 properties to manage’ by way of reason. Also good luck getting responses from Laura who is not polite or professional.

I switched from another agency to Aussie Property a couple of years ago. I was looked after by Laura Scott. I have not looked back since.Laura and her team have been instrumental in giving me a peace of mind in owning an overseas property.She has always been prompt and responsive and has shown resilience by not giving up on my VCAT case which has taken almost 2 years to resolve.

Property manager was great communicator but proceed with caution!!Let’s start with the good: 5-star communication that is clear, professional, and prompt. I was very happy with my property manager’s communication and our mostly digital interactions.Now the bad: 0 stars for not doing maintenance on security-related issues for 9+ months and having nonsense end-of-lease demands.My advice to tenants:1. If you rent from them, don’t expect your maintenance requests to be addressed and don’t waste your money on bond cleaners, as they will wait to the last second to tell you the place is mysteriously dirty and expect you to use their cleaner. If you’re used to getting your full bond back, sorry folks but your clean slate may end here. Mine sure did!2. Read up on tenancy law before entering into your lease. If they don’t do requested maintenance, there are measures you can take to ensure the work gets done. I learned this too late. Nobody should live in a home with security vulnerabilities.In short: great property manager, but the business does not fulfill its legal duties to tenants.
