I have bought several items here and have found the staff to be very helpful and professional. Whenever you want help, even after you purchase, they are there for YOU. My last visit a few weeks ago I needed a strap for my UKULELE and ANDREW fitted it for me and even tuned it too. They also provide tuition for learning the guitar and Ukulele. The teacher ( HAMISH ) is an AMAZING teacher. Even though I was only buying a simple Ukulele strap I was served the same as if I was buying a high end expensive guitar. Their stock is amazing and anything musical they will have it. I may graduate to learning the guitar with Hamish and I know I will receive the very best help from ANDREW and BOB and all the staff to choose the right Guitar for a BEGINNER. Of course, it maybe a little busy when you go there but that is because they are very popular, not only because of their amazing musical collections but because of their genuine help and friendly service. A big thank to Michael and the team for sorting out a warranty issue promptly and with no fuss. Michael discussed the issue (a broken tailpiece) with me, provided some background info and gave me a couple of options. Issue resolved, and this was 4 years after I had bought the guitar from them. Great shop and outstanding customer service!!! Thank you.

What a great experience at this shop! I just bought a guitar for my 15 year old son. Brett was extraordinarily helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. He understood straight away what we were looking for, gave us great guidance, helped my son to choose his guitar, and gave me expert advice about an old guitar that needed some repair. The shop is lovely inside, amber glowing walls lined with guitars, leather club chairs and benches to sit on and play away. You want to stay all day and chat to the lovely guitar blokes. They're all so friendly and knowledgeable. No pushing to buy. Amazing experience. So much nicer than the big chains. Can't wait to go back!

I just bought my second high end acoustic guitar from Gladesville Guitar Factory and couldn't be happier with the service and overall experience. The staff are all very knowledgeable and love to see you find the right instrument. We are lucky to have a music store like this in the region!

This took me a while to post, but recently went to GFG with a friend to look at buying a his first acoustic, we told the gentleman our budget and he generously let us play several guitars in all price points to find what really worked for him. Eventually we landed on a Martin that my friend was really excited about, and even though it was half the price of the budget we originally stated, the man who helped us in question said this was the most satisfying transaction he’d had in a long while. He also was generous enough to restring the guitar and do a solid deal on a hardcase as well, even though the shop was almost ready to close.We were there almost the whole day, and the man who helped us (tall man with a beard, sorry I’ve forgotten your name mate!) had the best customer service I’ve ever received!I also had been there some years ago to find my own acoustic, and I didn't end up buying much, probably just some strings and picks etc, but the same bloke that day was so generous with his info and time, you can tell these guys love what they do.I read some of these other lower reviews, and I wonder if a lot of these are written on the wrong guitar factory, cause in my experience they sound a lot like one of the other GF’s in the Sydney region.These guys have the best range of acoustic guitars in the country, and the best group of people to sell them! My mate still loves his guitar and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Thanks guys!

I highly recommend visiting this shop. I felt very acknowledged by the staff, yet was allowed plenty of space to test the guitars and have a play. I purchased a beautiful nylon string that I am very happy with. The staff have excellent knowledge and were super helpful. Worth the drive from the Inner West!

Recently purchased a Gold Tone AC5 Banjo. Impressive service, friendly staff and super fast delivery. It was packaged extremely well and arrived safe and sound. Highly recommended.

I really appreciate the support and kindness they provide to us. We were asking for a little martin without pickup and the gentleman (sorry, i would love to ask your name) showed his understanding and patience with our needs, went up and down, looked around the whole store 3 more times tried to find the right piece for us.
