Martha Hardy’s Kitchen MHK Adelaide Hills - Mount Lofty House | Martha Hardy’s Kitchen, is named after historical custodian Arthur Hardy’s wife, who roasted sides of lamb and whole legs of beef in the kitchen for the couple’s extravagant grand social events at the estate in the 1850’s.Martha’s is located on the lower level of Mount Lofty House, with glass frontage featuring sweeping views over the stunning Piccadilly Valley. Amazing experience across the board. Wait staff were all very professional and the food was incredible. Although pricey, not overly expensive compared to some of the other options in the Adelaide Hills.

We ate breakfast here 3 days in a row while staying at the hotel. The a la carte menu was good but also a little limited with no pancakes, for example.The juice was OK, but it would have been better if freshly squeezed.All staff were friendly.Bacon seemed to be cooked through too much (I.e. crispy), which is interesting considering most Australians don't like it this way.Lovely setting in restaurant with beautiful views over the Piccadilly Valley.

Had dinner here with my partner to celebrate our anniversary, what a lovely place to have dinner. The view is spectacular, and the staff made every effort to make sure we had a pleasant dining experience.

Excellent service & view, fine wines but the main was terribly disappointing. I ordered crispy skin red snapper (left pic) but got dried and tasteless fish instead (right pic). I’ve had better battered gem fish from Bondi Beach fish & chip shops. Dessert and potatoes were tasty though.
