Had the most delicious meal at Oleada. The steak was amazing and cooked to perfection. The pumpkin ravioli was delicious too (had a quick taste of one of our party). Nice selection of drinks too and the lemon cheesecake was a perfect way to finish. Best food on King Island that we had, and would rival any great bistros in Sydney.

Gin aperitif to begin. Wonderfully well thought out entree and mains dishes, complex layering of flavours, well balanced using international influence on local produce. Finished by having a Mexican chocolate ice cream accompanied by a Tasmanian whiskey. A lovely evening. My only critique (compliment) was that the sauces were so wonderful I wanted bread to get every last bit of them.

Wow what a meal, I had seared scallops with bacon potato and leek as an entree then prawn spaghetti with lemon as a main just fantastic.For dessert i had the cream brûlée so impressed

Absolutely our favourite meal on King Island. A cosy, relaxed, and ecclectic little space, we wish we could have eaten every meal here - make sure to book ahead! Though, there were lots of takeaway bags being picked up by hungry locals. Fabulous service, a beautiful list of local gins (with nice tonic!), and amazing food.

A lovely, homely small restaurant. The food was delicious and all made with fresh local produce. There are only 5 tables, and there was a projector showing old black and white comedy movies in the background! A must visit on King Island.

I can confidently say I’ve just had the best meal of my life here, the eye fillet with the blue cheese sauce was sensational. Lots of care in the service, the music and atmosphere. Heidi has done a great job, thank you again, we’ll be back. Sam.

Really good food, vibe and experience provided by Heidi and Max. Definitely worth visiting while in KI and should be planned ahead to make sure you get a seat; only 16 of them available. Food was all 5 star and impeccable, with a fantastic gin (all local Tasmanian) and wine menu complimenting the food. Enjoyed each dish, with the favourite being the Chilli Beef Pasta for us. If you've left the dessert stomach free then you'll be pleased to know there are available dessert options too!On the occasion you don't get a seat, takeaway is available too.Hope to be back on the next KI Trip!

10/10!!! From the wine, the taste of every bite to the atmosphere and service. We came from Melbourne and have eaten at the best restaurants but this experience far out ways any dinner experience we’ve had! An absolute must if you visit King Island.
