Shocking experience. Without a doubt the worst eatery i've ever been to.Grill was filthy rendering all food to have that carcinogenic burnt flavour. Everything tasted the same and aweful. Cook melted butter over all food which was strange and not appetising.Nothing fresh, everything frozen and I was absolutely appalled when I saw him pull out BASA. The nastiest, cheapest fish you can buy. I felt insulted with how much they charge. Plain Iceberg lettuce with a bottled garlic sauce for the salad. A proper disgrace.The first restaurant I've ever been to that I couldn't eat anything. Never again.

We enjoyed fantastic night at this restaurant. The service was incredible, so helpful and engaging, the chef out in a show and was very funny.The going was excellent, fresh and delicious. The restaurant was clean and inviting.It's not licensed, however we were advised the bittleshop was 2 shops over.Highly recommend. Book in advance.

This place is tremendously unassuming from the outside and we'd driven past many times. It's a great little spot it turns out. The staff are friendly and very helpful with the kids (both under 6) and the food was lovely and plentiful. Best part the kids ate absolutely everything! We had the set menu C and the kids both had the kids set menu, which worked out great. We'll definitely be back

I don't usually post but I felt compelled to give this place a great review. We visited last night for my son's birthday and had a fantastic time. The food was absolutely delicious and the service fantastic. Highly recommend

My family loved this place. Two young kids 6 & 4 were entertained the whole time, the chef superb. Excellent menu options. The restaurant itself doesn't have the visual pizzazz of other city restaurants but you will not be let down. The food is just as good without the price tag.

The extended family visited for a birthday celebration and all left hungry. Our banquet serves were tiny. We shared a grill with a couple that were obviously regulars - servings were divided with them and they were given much larger portions. One of the courses was a bit burnt because there was one chef jumping between two grills and he’d spent a bit too long at the other. Overall staff were friendly, food was fine, price was reasonable for teppanyaki but, despite living very close, we’re unlikely to return as we couldn’t wait to get home and have something to eat after the banquet.

We decided to check out this place despite the mixed reviews.We opted for the $52 set menu and we were all pleasantly surprised.The squid and steak was just melting in your mouth.The chef was very engaging. We and other customers present, had a very good laugh. The waitress was also very good.Only thing we can recommend is a bit more salad. And maybe replace the spring roll by something else as all the other food was great and the spring roll let it down.If you can also consider including salmon or eel in your set menu and maybe adjust the price so that customers who are happy to pay slightly more can also chose other fish than bassa.But contrary to what many people commented. Even though the portions are not huge we were so full when we left. And we are all big eaters.If they can also put another extractor fan on while the cooking is on, that would make the place less smokey.But on the whole we had a good time.

Food was tasty & staff were friendly to our son and they are getting 2 stars for that. It was my birthday of last year when we had dinner here. My husband organised it for me and our family as we haven’t experienced Teppanyaki just yet. But then I was heavily pregnant and cannot travel further from Mosman. We are locals and could’ve been regulars but with our experience - will never come back again. We paid a banquet meal for 6 people and - there were 2 other customers that was squeezed in to our table - THAT’s OKAY but what is not OK IS the food division, we understand they were regulars but it was rude of the CHEF to give MORE food to the other customers - they share the meat that we paid for - me and my family witnessed how he divided the food portions - I was actually getting upset on my own birthday dinner because of what we kept witnessing during my birthday. So sad. Even our 99 year old next door neighbour told us he left the restaurant — unhappy and not full.
