I unfortunately the mistake of going back here after having my belly button done wrong (which became infected) about a year ago. I thought that in that time that the place may have changed, but I was wrong. This place is still not including the price of jewellery/aftercare spray in the initial payment that is done online plus general piercing prices are extremely expensive for such seemingly low quality piercing jobs - $83.95 for nose and also for both sides ear piercing. Also, the 'aftercare' solutions (if you are even told of any) have resulted in reactions to my piercings. The girl who did my nose and second earrings did not appear to be confident or trained very well, which is not her fault - it is the fault of whoever is in charge of training/employing. She seemed unsure and nervous of the placement of my nose piercing, and ended up pinching a nerve/blood vessel in my nose, causing it to bleed for hours after, and caused a constant stinging feeling for weeks after. The second ear piercings were not much better, the needle would not go through, and she accidentally pierced the side of my neck after shoving the needle through. Unfortunately, but not surprisingly, all piercings have become infected and I have had to take them out, which is extremely disappointing as I was looking forward to them, and it is also almost $200 down the drain, and now doctor's appointments to get antibiotics for the infection. Not to mention the awful pain that came with each of the piercings for the weeks after. Either employ quality, properly trained piercers who know what they're doing, or lower the prices significantly. It is disappointing that I have to write this review, as I know how popular Essential Beauty is, and the girls that work there are absolutely lovely people, and of course, I want to have a good experience here to get piercings, but something seriously needs to be done about the standards of training/employment/general practice here, otherwise more and more negative reviews will pour in, along with rather unhappy customers.

Iv had 3 piercings done at this place and 2 of them were messed up, a while ago I had my septum done and they pierced me in the wrong spot, and 2 days ago I went and had my helix done, they have pierce my vein, my whole ear is bright blue and I have to take it out, I know have to go through extra pain of taking it out and re doing it, it was my mistake trusting them after messing up the first time but I thought it would be hard to mess up a helix, they are all such lovely girls and I’m sure they were both accidents but honestly I here so many people having bad piercings from this place, I think they need to be extra carful and really make sure they are doing everything correctly as iv been notified that this could all of been avoided if they just checked with a flash light before piercing, I know they will re do it for me for free but I’m honestly to scared to go back.Would add the photos of my ear but I’m not sure how

I got a double nose piercing done here in February, absolutely lovely workers, very little pain. I had the lady that did my piercings explain how to use the after care, when I can change them and how to keep them clean... was a lovely service and am planning on going back next week for a tounge piercing.

I had surgery and had to have my daith rings changed to plastic they where fantastic doing that but when I gone to change them back the girls where rude and wanted to charge me to put my own rings back in.
