Lovely spot to view the second largest canyon in the world without too much effort. Easy to miss the entrance if you drive towards Mudgee direction.

Great look out at a hidden treasure. The valley is wider than the Grand Canyon. There is also a bird track walk available for anyone wanting to go for a walk around the area.

A good view, but certainly not the best. A little tricky to park the car as it is not very well thought. Can be skipped, not much to be missed.

Very beautiful lookout, you could easily miss if not for the sign. Parking at top enough for about 5 cars, but it's quiet.

Pearsons Lookout Over Capertee Valley
We drove past this today - it was closed. There’s roadworks just near the entrance to the lookout. So if you are thinking of driving from Katoomba or Blackheath (like we did) - don’t - it is closed. Not sure when the roads will be fixed. The one star is not for the lookout but just to highlight that this lookout is closed and there’s no other way to add info. Hope this helps someone - please check with the visitor Center before proceeding.

Pearsons Lookout Over Capertee Valley
Another gorgeous lookout over one of the largest canyons in the world. Extremely easy to get to so a good one for small kids, older people or persons with mobility issues. I did notice quite a lot of litter over the side, which is a shame because of the beauty of the place and the availibilty of rubbish bins.

We have driven past this lookout so many time and for the first time in years actually stopped to take a look.Wow what an amazing view, I don't know why we hadn't stopped previously. The 2nd largest Canyon in the world over a km larger then the grand canyon.Amazing view and great place to take some photos.

Pearsons Lookout Over Capertee Valley
Great view of a valley that is wider than the Grand Canyon. Only a small parking space so be careful if you take a trailer up to the lookout. No toilets or picnic area so stop in Capertee for something to eat.
