I was the victim of a scam that involved remote access by the scammers. They contacted me shortly after a visit by a Telstra Technician to discuss my internet speeds. They appeared absolutely bone fide “NBN/Telstra” people even to the extent of having Telstra logos on the remote access window and various webpages they showed me. They worked in tandem. Once they gained access to my computer and my bank account I was transferred to a “Senior IT Security Supervisor”. While having discussion with the”supervisor” who was showing me various things, the first person was, unbeknown to me was transferring funds from one of my accounts to another. Senior IT Security person then showed be a “dummy” bank statement that showed one of my accounts had $10,000 more in it than it should have.. The scam then asked for my assistance in outing corrupt bank officials, Several examples were provided, To cut a long store short. I withdrew money thinking it wa s the banks and took it to another bank, where the deposit was queried. I realised at this stage I had been scammed and returned the funds to my bank who locked my account. The Scammers were still on my mobile and had control of my computer. Rude words ensued and I shut down my computer and pulled the plug on the Telstra modem.Fortunately both the bank and my daughter advised getting an expert in to clean and eliminate any viruses or spy-wear. Perth Geeks was recommended by my daughter, I contacted Brendan and he came later the same day. I was panic stricken, the computer was still off line . Brendan came and took control, he asked for the full story, as above, and advised that he would check the computer completely but it was unlikely that the scammers had left any spy ware. He then proceeded to check all aspects of our computer , an iMac, explained each step in language we could understand and showed us the results. At each stage he was calm and in control and we gained confidence in his expertise. Subsequently we have spent a day or so changing our passwords.Brendan had obviously handled similar scams in the past, I was impressed with his patience, depth of knowledge and understanding. I understand he is not limited to just “cleaning” computers but has a range of expertise needed by both individuals, small business and corporate systems. Having had some systems experience in past employment I would have no hesitation in recommending Brendan

I had a geek" from a well known company come out on thursday and he did more harm than good in getting me back up and running.The laptop ran slower and he lost all my outlook folders aaargh.I called Brendan who attended within 24 hours

After speaking with multiple IT repair companies and getting no where, I called Brendan. He was able to accurately pin point the issue with my SSD and PC just over the phone! He was very willing to assist and super knowledgeable. I will definitely be using Brendan's services in the future should I have any IT related issues.
