Not for everyone but the local lads have done a fantastic job at this camp ground. If you have the pleasure to meet some of them you will have friends for life.

Great spot for a couple if days or longer. Free camp with hot showers and flushing toilets. The lake was constructed from a swamp in the 1930s but millennium drought and GWM pipeline put an end to it. Now just this small 'Fire dam' of fresh but untreated pipeline water where some ducks spend all day. Great walks in area.
