Perfect morning walk to get your body moving. Walking in a counter clockwise direction gets you over the steepest part first. Read reviews before going for the first time to make sure you know where to stay on track at a couple of the junctions. Water views in the last few kilometres only, but we loved this walk which has an interesting history. So close to the city but feels a world away.

Great place for a walk and a swim. So close to kenmore and Brookfield. Good parking and lots of lovely tracks to walk on.

Very peaceful and secluded reservoir, single track loop around the waterbody is great for hiking and trail runs.Able to walk across the front and main spillway of the reservoir.

Ive found that many local Brisbane walks had no photos, videos or guidance so others can plan a walk, so here is our tipsI would like to let walking enthusiasts know, my partner and I are 60 years old.This walk had a few steep parts that has left our calf muscles sore for approximately four or five days. But nothing to difficult. The walk average is three hours we completed it in 2.5 hours with a few rest stops on the steep bits. I wouldn't recommend this walk for children under 13 years unless they are avid bush walkers

The body of water that the dam holds back isn't that impressive. Actually the dam itself is just a wall of dirt.But the surrounding area is beautiful. definitely somewhere I would like to go back to, and take a picnic and friends.I enjoyed a hike here from Enoggera Reservoir, along the South Boundary Road Track.
