Platypus Shoes Charlestown

I was so impressed and grateful for the service I received today . Unfortunately I didn't get the young ladies name at Charlestown ( I was there at around 1pm) who assisted me . I had ordered online the wrong size sandal and was advised by a lovely young man on the phone at the Kotara store to take them back to a store . I thought I would have to post them back .The young lady in Charlestown went above and beyond to get me the right size .The return policy was incredibly efficient and I'll be getting the right size delivered in a couple of days .To receive good old fashion service these days is rare . The two young people I dealt with today shows that there is a lot of good to come .I do hope that management at Platypus acknowledge these 2 legends doing wonderful things for their brand .Many thanks Katrina

A really good range of footwear here, stockists of Dr Martin's, in which they have so many different styles, also Berkenstock.

Good range of shoes, very knowledgeable and helpful staff -and enough of them that you don't stand around waiting ages to get help!

Such a great experience, I was served by a girl by the name of Grace (I think) who was super friendly. She was extremely helpful and did not make me feel pressured whatsoever to buy something. I ended up getting a new pair of docs, highly recommend!

Went into the Charlestown sector, and was in there for 30 minutes and was completely ignored by the staff. They stood around gossiping to each other about what they were doing on the weekend. We were the only customers in the actual store and was completely ignored. So disappointed. So rude

Thank you Dakota from Platypus Charlestown store. I bought my daughter JADON 8 EYE BOOT Dr Martens 3 weeks ago, she wore them once and a yellow stitch popped. Took them back to the store today and exchanged for a new pair. Dakota was professional, helpful and my daughter is very appreciative to have her new boots without a stitch missing. Platypus is our shoe store of choice when purchasing brand named footwear and service like this is why we keep coming back.

I'm not the one to post many google reviews but going to Platypus Shoes Charlestown Square really made me feel too good to not post a review about them! I was beyond impressed with the passionate enthusiasm and outgoing helpfulness of the staff, as they knew all about shoes inside-out from every possible angle (way better than anyone I've come across before), and thus were brilliant with providing me their opinions on what shoes looked best on me and suggesting me many different shoes tailored to my style! Almost like they knew straight up what shoes would suit me best as well as for just about every other customer who walked through the door it seemed! Not to mention, it was also a top-notch time talking to them like I was their best friend whilst trying on my new shoes!! Never experienced customer service from anywhere to a level as high as that before! Can't deny it made my day, or even my week maybe! Looking for a shoe shop to to try on new shoes and buy from? For real, you've fair dinkum found your place right here at Platypus Shoes! Can't recommend it enough!!!

When I first went in it was really busy but was greeted and served by a great employee Ben (Unlike previous stores visited that day). I told him what type of shoes I was looking for and directed me to a particular one that would suit my needs. Although they didnt have my size in stock was was so impressed with the level of service that I went back a couple days later to order those shoes all round great atmosphere

Walked in to get my daughter some shoes and got served straight away. Was in the shop less then 10 minutes and my daughter had her new converse school shoes
