Chumley Warner's Traditional British Fish & Chips
As a Northern Lass who has been living in Aus for nearly 14 years, this is first time I have found a chippy who advertises a proper British feed that actually lives up to it! It really is exactly how I remember it from back home. Delicious food, friendly service, very reasonable prices. I couldn't fault it. Can't wait to be back!

Me and my parents have been coming here for nearly four years and still going. We’re from Adelaide in South Australia but we come over to QLD by car once a year, never once have we missed a chance to come to the best fish & chip shop in our humble opinion.Your staff are polite and well mannered and welcoming, the options are really good and the pricing is really good value for money.The taste of the fish is splendid, the haggis was also fantastic and the lemon/orange shandy I had was great.Thanks very much for the awesome food over the past four years :)All the best.

Chumley Warner's Traditional British Fish & Chips
Went here with a British friend who says it tastes exactly like home. Had the cod & chips meal + chips with curry sauce & mushy peas. Meals were a solid portion size and everything tasted wonderfully fresh. The flakey cod in a crispy batter was a stand out! Salt shakers & vinegar available to douse the chips in. Went on a Sunday around lunch time so it was very busy, but worth the wait.

Nice proper thick cut chips. However the peas and gravy pots had vents in them making them leak in the paper wrapping. The fish tasted okay, but obviously it has to be frozen. The cod portion size however was half the size of the haddock which was disappointing.

This is a good replica of English fish n chips with mushy peas & curry sauce! Wait times weren’t too bad because we came at a quiet time. I would 100% go back to satisfy my cravings.

Absolutely amazing food and its proper British food as well, cooked and served by British staff whonare super friendly. I've lived in Australia for a few years now and it made me a little emotional and homesick as it took me right back home. Well worth a visit

Ordered via Door Dash. Cod and chips came quick, were well-packed and warm. Fish and chips were lovely and it was awesome finding a chippy that does curry sauce! Would have been 5 stars but they were a bit stingy with the chips.

Really Disappointed with the quality on Saturday (21st Jan) . The chips were undercooked and greasy as was the Cod.Calamari rings were nice and the battered pork sausage was ok . Overall a $40+ meal was substandard and we are unlikely to give it a go again.Full disclosure I am British originally from North east England and hold fish and chips to a high standard however this was down there with my lowest experiences unfortunately.

Today I discovered something that will forever change my world, Chumley Warner's Traditional British Fish and Chips serves kebabs, and not only that but also snack packs. I ordered said snack pack in size small and let me tell you I could hardly make a dint, the small size would be considered a regular and any old kebab shop. On top of this the meat used in it was the highest quality I've seen in a kebab, using chicken kebab, lamb kofta and Tandoori chicken meat. The Tandoori meat was an unexpected addition but works perfectly and on top of this, the bottom is filled with Chumley's famous British chip. I can hands down say this was one of best best and most exciting and fresh snack packs I've ever had. This is honestly the first time I've seen these menu items in a place that wasn't a kebab store and they have honestly outdone their competition; I couldn't emphasise more that you must try one of their kebabs.
