Wow. We'll be back. Lovely pub. Great vibes, fireplace, snazzy courtyard it's got the lot.Food choices very good. Caters for vegetarians and GF. Meals were delicious. Fresh, quick and wholesome.Service charming and then there's the chilled sav blanc.It's a gem.

While l have been to Royal a few times, I had never been upstairs. The Radiators played on Sat night and it went off, awesome band and the sound was great. It is a small venue and if you were in the main room there is nothing to obscure your view.It is set up as more for functions than bands, but l would not hesitate in the slightest seeing another band here.Entry was easy with the use of QR codes. There is a lift if you're unable to do the stairs, with access inside near the bistro, with a bar and toilets upstairs.

Excellent food and atmosphere, the cocktails were fantastic. Best steak I've had in ages! Live music on a Thursday night, wonderful staff and facilities. Only downside was the bistro area was a bit cramped with tables close together and to the bar, but overall a wonderful spot for a meal out. My brother highly recommends the fruit tingle!

Went in at about 630 on a Friday night and the place was packed. We managed to get lucky and find a table. Ordered some food, a steak, grilled salmon and lamb cutlets. Everything was fantastic and despite the crowds we had been served and finished eating within 45 minutes of sitting down. The staff are a well oiled machine. Drinks were reasonably priced too. Would recommend.

Came to Royal Hotel whilst in town for work. A very modern hotel with plenty of room! Massive menu of great pub foods. Had the load parmi which was brilliant! Portion size was massive and really reasonably priced. Food was out very quickly! Big selection of drinks and staff were super friendly! Not a lot of parking but just down the street there is a big car park so it’s only a short walk. All in all would highly recommend!

I had the vegetarian pizza and the vegetarian pasta. The vegetarian pasta was very ordinary. They literally just boiled pasta and combined with vegetables with no sauce. The pizza was better. It tasted like they handmade the dough.
