I bought a RRS that developed an electrical fault quite soon after buying it. They’ve put the effort into resolving the fault with no quibble and provided a courtesy car while it’s getting fixed. Have my Discovery service at Ritters under Vincent or Vinnie(normally he is referred as )He has been very detailed on the services that need to be done to the car. He walked me through the work that needed to be done thoroughlyHe even took photos of the problem parts that’s caused the leaking and enlarged it to show us.We are very impressed with his knowledge and honestyThey only charged what’s necessaryI believe Ritters is the only specialist that the Discovery owner should haveWith the knowledge, honesty and patience that they possessed no one would regret having them to maintain their DISCO7/4/2022I would like to say “ thank you “ to a wonderful lady TINA for going an extra mile to provide her care to me on the phone when I called for assistance to Ritters immediately after I had an accidentinstead of my insurance companyShe calmed me down and making sure I was ok as I was all by myself when the accident happenedShe guided me on what I should do step by step when I was shocked, confused n emotionally unstable after the accidentShe doesn’t have to coz it’s not her job as Ritters doesn’t deal with accident repair. I recently had my MY12 Land Rover Discovery serviced through Ritters and am very impressed with their knowledge and service on display. Vinnie in the servicing department deserves a special mention as he walked me through the work that needed to be carried out, and also the itemised invoice once the work was complete. This enabled me to feel in control of the process and gave me a great appreciation for the work that was required.A specialist such as Ritters are essential for the enthusiast who wants to break away from the generic approach of the dealership network 10/10

Just had the car serviced last week at Ritter.No problems until now. Await RACV serviceman.? Flat battery.Thought a weak battery should have been picked up at last service. Disappointed!27/9/21I am happy with Ritter Andrew 's reply. It was a pleasant surprise to hear from him as businesses don't often take much notice of less than positive feedback.I will take up his offer of having the vehicle 's error messages checked after the lockdown is lifted. Thanks.

I bought my first Range Rover Classic and after taking it elsewhere I decided to take it to Ritter and get it fixed properly.The moment I got there and popped the bonnet I knew I’d done the right thing as Craig spotted a couple of issues right off the bat that were not right and were causing issues (e.g. heater bypassed, A/C compressor and hose leaks)Craig was straight up with me and told me what needed to be done and how much it would cost to do. He gave me the option of what I wanted fixing and told me how long it would be.My Range Rover was with Ritter for a good amount of time, and it cost me a few bucks but I know that the job was done right. It’s been 4 months now of driving it almost every day and I have had no issues with what was done.I’d highly recommend taking your Land Rover or Range Rover to Ritter because that’s what they specialise in. Can you take your car elsewhere and get it done cheaper? Maybe. But in my experience some other mechanics take longer to diagnose issues as they don’t know the cars and you’ll end up paying for labour that you didn’t need to pay for. You’ll probably also find that other mechanics don’t know the problems that these cars are susceptible to so they don’t know where to look, or how to fix things properly.I’m booking my Range Rover in for a pre-trip service now!

Just wanted to share my experience today at Ritter Automotive, I received some genuine old fashioned advice and service, Craig L (service adviser) who helped me with an issue on my P38a went above and beyond rectifying a problem I had on the spot. His knowledge of the vehicle was second to none. He knew exactly what was required. An amazing experience highly recommend these guy's!

Purchased a second hand vehicle from Ritter and had so many leaks I should have reported it to the roadworthy authorities.After reporting the leaks to the Ritter sales person, It was dismissed as residual oil and coolant from servicing. This was not true and was only the beginning of costly repairs that would follow.Another tell tale of band aid fixes was they tried to glue the rear wiper body for road worthy when they are a parts re-seller. It would have cost less than $10 to replace the broken wiper blade with a new one.The vehicle has since been sold.Full disclosure, this was years ago and hope they have stepped up their game since my experience with them.**EDIT** Reply to owner comment below.I still have the email trail highlighting all the defects and road worthy concerns to sales person Bart Villanti. No rectification work to address these concerns was ever offered.

I found these guys to be far superior than Land Rover in their Knowledge, their attention to detail and to be honest their basic communication skills!Landrover City Branch at Port Melbourne & also Malvern East Branch might as well be working at Hertz. I have owned 3x Range Rovers and all three had problems from 12 months onwards.Never Again will I go to the main dealer.I personally Rate Ritters far superior on so many levels.
