Recently had new carpet from Hayes Flooring laid & very satisfied. After visiting a number of carpet stores I chose to deal with Hayes and very pleased I did, I found their product knowledge helped us immensely on choosing correct carpet. The carpet layers were very professional and I have no hesitation in recommending this firm.

We arrived to find a note on the door saying entry by appointment only. On the web site it stated they were open from 10 to 3. A staff member inside spoke to us through the glass but we couldn't hear what she was saying. We phoned the store only to get a voice message asking us to leave a message. At this time the staff member was sitting on the floor flicking through carpet samples. We left and found what we needed at choices in Brisbane St where Pamela gave us great service.

I thought choosing new carpet would be a breeze! After two trips to select samples, clearly i had NO IDEA what would be the best carpet for our apartment. Lesa suggested that Brenda come and bring some samples, measure, and see what she thought would be a good match. Once Brenda had assessed the area of carpet, the colour of our walls, and two different colours of two-packed joinery(kitchen cabinets plus built in lounge joinery) she said she’d return with more samples. One sample i would NEVER have chosen on my own, but it was the one i eventually ordered. The carpets are installed and are glorious. The team at Hayes flooring, Brenda, Lesa and Michael are outstanding. The workmanship is exceptional. My experience is that when you have experts in their trade, TAKE their advice, especially when it comes to carpet.As a dear friend commented, “it’s harder to select a carpet than a husband!”Ps, i don’t have any connection to Hayes Flooring, other than lasting gratitude. Oh, and move out if you can. We had 3 nights in a nearby hotel.Good luck and enjoy your new carpet!

Brenda, Lesa and the rest of the ladies in the Hayes shop were amazing with their help. Nothing was an issue for them and they helped pick the right carpet for the space. The guys installing the carpet were super friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure to have them around. We ending up with carpet way better than expected. Would definitely use Hayes Flooring again.
