Gympie Meat Hall

I went in yesterday to get lamb shoulder chops, the chops in the display looked very nice, I asked for 3 kilos as I was having friends over for a bbq. The lady who served me went out the back and came back with a bag full of lamb chops. When I got home, and looked at them I was disgusted. They were chunks and scraps of bone and fat. They didn't even resemble chops. This is not the first time its happened to me. But it will be the last. They have buckets of scraps that they give to customers especially if its a special. This is so disappointing. I will not support them as they are dishonest and selling meat not fit for a dog.

My father-in-law bought 2 racks of lamb and 4 racks of pork ribs for our family Christmas from this butcher … and we had to throw the lot because it was all off!!

All their meat looks so fresh and inviting. Their pork chop are perfect (even have a decent round and tail)

Used to be good with resnable prices. sins owners changed though they just match prices with other butcher's and supermarkets so now there is no point in me going there wen I can get the same meat at the same prise enywere els. best value for money item is the ham hands down best for its price in town however despite this paying 24$ a kg for ham is insane ham is a cheap sandwich meat that should never exceeded 12 a kg and with rump over 30$ I gess as much as it makes me sic ill have to become a vegetarian. they do have sales but in my experience every time I bourt a sale item like red meat it's always been a bit funky and hasent kept for longer than 10hours in the fridge it's a shame realy my grand mother went to thu6s butcher for many many years and so havei but I gess our suport to this business has ended its better value for me to travle to Brisbane and sunny coast I pay half the prices sometime les then half evan a quarter., cost me 40 or so in fule but I save 100s in cost of neat for a fortnight.

Calked store first then sent my 17yr old daughter in to get some beef brisket bones. The young man who served her said he could cut some up but then handed her a $1 bag of mixed bones. Not what I asked for and they are slimy. So I call the store and the manager yelled at me then abused me, lied 3 times, changed his story twice and hung up on me 3 times. Ill never shop there again. Terrible customer service and so rude.

Excellent service, great prices, great specials, great selection and lovely meat what more could you want from our local butchers. Thanks guys.
