Great place to stay, nice view and large area to park hundreds RV or Campers!

Our first stop on the GCR, and what a way to start the trip! We were lucky enough to be the only one's camping there back in October when we stayed - great free campsite

An amazing campsite just 50 k's from Laverton stunning views cell phone coverage plenty of campsites spaced for privacy and a unique experience can't rate this campsite highly enough five stars.

Stunning landscape. Considering it's just off the Great Central Road, Giles Breakaway is definitely worth stopping in for a look.

Such a beautiful place to camp, stunning view and stars. Lots of spots to choose from, would definitely recommend stopping here!

Great camping spot, very interesting geological formations .. investigated a couple of shallow caves, would visit again. Only us and a friend there when we visited.

Amazing scenery and breathtaking views, yet this a surprisingly sheltered location.Ok, I wouldn’t camp here during gale force winds, but it does seem surprisingly calm despite being an elevated position where you would normally expect some more intense wind gusts. Hey, maybe I just got lucky on my 2 x visits, but I still think this is one of the best camp sites along the Great Central Road.Safety advice: some of the cliff edges are pretty steep, so this isn’t really kid friendly unless they are already aware of the risks of being near a steep cliff face.For the adults, I would advise caution if you’re walking at night time near the ridge line because you could easily lose your footing and have a little spill over the edge.So just be aware of that and otherwise it’s a great camping location.General housekeeping: No water or rubbish bins available, don’t be a tosser, take your rubbish with you when you leave.
