Gentle Dental Hawthorn
I'm relatively new to the practice but can confidently say this is a quality dentist that definitely lives up to its name when it comes to being gentle. The reception team is very warm and welcoming and I can attest to Dr Anthony providing excellent care. He explains things in an accessible way which has been helpful for a dental noob like me. Props to whoever had the idea to install a screen to watch Netflix on above the chair - makes for a relaxing experience and makes what is meant to be a lengthy procedure feel not long at all.

Cannot speak highly enough of this practice. The reception team are welcoming, attentive and professional (particularly Claire). Dr Anthony Lay is friendly, shows care in his work and explains treatment options thoroughly. Gentle Dental put their patients first and it makes for a comfortable, positive visit each time.

Gentle Dental Hawthorn
I put off going to the dentist for a long time due to anxiety from previous bad experiences, but the caring, down to earth team at Gentle Dental are helping me get back on track. Dr Anthony is calm and professional, he explained everything in a meaningful way. He even managed to make me feel safe and comfortable during a root canal! Special shout out to Molly for her time on the phone the day before, she talked me through the procedure in such a kind and supportive way, helping to alleviate anxiety. Never thought I'd say this about the dentist, but I'm kind of looking forward to my next appointment!

Gentle Dental Hawthorn
My husband and I were patients of Dr Lisa at her previous practice. She is an excellent dentist so we followed her to Gentle Dental. Would highly recommend her to anyone, particularly anyone with a fear of dentists, as she has a lovely manner. Always a warm welcome from Claire too :)

Gentle Dental Hawthorn
Dr Lisa and the team are amazing. My teeth were a mess before seeing Dr Lisa, but she's helped me through everything from extractions to fillings, and I've now just finished Invisalign with her and couldn't be happier. Excellent service, and great quality of work, happy to recommend.

Absolutely fantastic experience and the name speaks for itself. Lisa and her team are calming, gentle and so professional in their approach, coming from someone who is very anxious at the dentist, I have had to have a fair bit of work done on my tooth. Lisa had put together a plan for my tooth repair and talked through the whole process to keep me cool, calm and collected. Again, wonderful staff and fantastic service! So glad to have Lisa as my dentist.
