My experience with the dentist, Tara Elahi was is extremely unprofessional. The filings she did left an ache in my tooth which wasn’t there when I walked in not too sure what she did but it’s left me unable to chew on one side of my mouth .Not only did she see me sitting in the waiting room she left to go and buy herself some bread while I waited an extra 15 minutes for my appointment, and I know that she bought bread because later when she was examining my teeth and fillings etc she talked non-stop to her assistant about her kids what they do on the weekend about what they having for dinner. I felt like I was interrupting their conversation. She then proceeded to constantly tell me to try and breathe through my nose in which I said I am trying to do I actually left having two fillings done my teeth did not hurt going to just have a clean X-rays ( which she didn’t do ) .I am now not able to chew on one side of my mouth because there is an ACHE IN ONE OF MY TEETH WHERE SHE PUT THE FILLING I’m too SCARED to go back to see her ,so I will now probably go and see someone else I definitely recommend NOT TO SEE HER WORST EXPERIENCE I’ve had at the dentist

Thank you so much Dr Matthew Jude and the crew for all your efforts over the years. The trouble you went to for me was amazing. Think you may of moved to a different clinic, best wishes to you. Really pleased to be back in a dental routine and have a clinic I am comfortable with. Mixing a bit of public and private dental, for me has worked out very well. Starting to smile again thanks to you guys.

Excellent dental practice, which we have now switched to as a family (we now all see Dr Emily Zhang). I would recommend them on the basis of:1. Good service: I have found the practice welcoming, from front desk to dentist2. Ease of getting an appointment; this came in handy when I decided I wanted a check before an overseas holiday3. Up to date techniques: for example, I needed a cavity at the side of my tooth filled, similar to a lesion I had had repaired at my previous dentist. This required local anaesthesia and punching down through the top of the tooth. Previous experience was a painful injection of a anaesthetic with a needle and metal syringe from last century. And then eventually a root canal as that did not prevent the pulp getting infected. Here it was painless, and I actually did not realise the injection had already taken place. Filling is still fine a year later.4. Pride in their work and an ethical approach to remedial actions: I had gone for the check pre holiday as I had started feeling an occasional twinge at the site of the above filling. After thoroughly checking it out and determining the tooth still looked fine, including on X-ray, Dr Zhang offered to redo the filling for free, as she said occasionally fillings can shrink down slightly with time, and cause twinges as I had described. And as she regarded this scenario as a reflection of workmanship, she was happy to redo the work. I was not particularly bothered and only really wanted to make sure it wasn’t another cavity, so declined the offer. But it did leave me with a very positive impression of their practice philosophy

SHOCKING ! They said I have to wait for 2 years to see a dentist !?!? Yes you read it correctly. 2 years of waiting list. No booking system. Only on daily basis. First time I heard this, only in Melbourne.

Recently had a check up. Dentist took time to explain how I should look after my teeth properly. Not your typical in and out clinic like I have been to before. Appreciated their patience and would recommend to friends.

Went here 2 weeks ago, staff were friendly prices were good. They let me know what was going on every step of the way. Wasnt any surprises when it came to paying unlike other dentists ive been to. Couldnt recommend highly enough. Thanks box hill family dentistry.

The worst experience ever! Can’t be disappointed more! It’s a shame that google doesn’t have minus rating, cos that would be what they deserve!Don’t take me wrong, this review is regarding the receptionist team. I believe the dentists are better, at least Emily Zhang was, but I got no way to know, as I won’t be going back and don’t recommend any people to go there, unless you don’t mind to take the risk of being messed around.I made a booking last Friday for this morning at 8:30. The lady on the phone informed me this visit can’t be a normal check up, I confirmed that I’m in pain and I think the tooth needs to be taken out.Today, I got there on time, but was told that they can’t find my appointment, and the doctor is fully booked for the morning. Then they asked me if I’m sure that I booked with them and whether I have a confirmation text. I didn’t receive any text messages from them, so showed them my call history and then they ask me if I remember the lady’s name. What a joke! If you want to know, can’t you look up the roaster? And what the point to find out who answered my call? To verify that I had a booking or she can take the tooth out for me instead?Finally, they said “I’m so sorry that we MAY make a mistake” and arranged another appointment at 2:30pm. Now, less than 3 hours prior to the appointment, did I get a confirmation text? Of course no.Unprofessional, no consistency.Be prepared, if you still want to see your dentist there.
