UNPROFESSIONAL AND GAVE MISDIAGNOSESWhilst I am a great believer in alternative therapy and medicine, I am also a great believer in correct diagnoses and professionalism.My mother had been seeing Maedy Colenso for about a year. We recently received a phone call from Maedy saying that my mother had bowl cancer, which was a great shock for the entire family.After I investigated the lab that Maedy Colenso had sent the test to I became aware that the test they perform do not test for bowl cancer. I rang the lab to confirm that the information on the website was true and they confirmed this finding.As a professional practitioner of any sort of medicine or alternative therapy one would expect to be firstly told such news face to face, as well as ensuring when the word CANCER is used you are 110% sure of the diagnoses.My mother visited her GP and the GP confirmed by reading the test results that there was no mention of cancer and that there was absolutely no reason for Maedy to draw this conclusion.I also visited Maedy for my young daughter and the advise she gave was out of date and not in line with current research.Don't be vulnerable be informed.

I started seeing Maedy Colenso at Possum Hollow 17 years ago. At the time my 9 month old daughter was suffering from a nasty case of eczema and nothing was helping, so on the referral of a friend, I made an appointment. Within a month the eczema was completely gone and we haven't looked back since. As a very little girl my daughter would request to go and see Maedy and I worked out years later that it was because she wasn't feeling well and knew Maedy would make her feel better.
