A Grade Sanding & Polishing

If I could give him zero I would! We had our floors sanded and limewashed. When he came to give us a quote, he spoke about the 'specialised team' that he would have doing the job. He sent a completely different company to sand, then rocked up for a day to do the painting himself. $3000 later, we have been left with a floor of uneven colouring / brush strokes everywhere / pooled paint along the edges. The stairs we were quoted for were completely unfinished, and we spent a tube and a half on gap filling, then 2 coats of paint! Surprise, surprise - he wants nothing to do with it now. Will now have to spend more on getting it fixed. Absolutely furious and would not recommend him at all.

Great business and Jeff was very professional at time of quote. Brett did a great job and was professional and friendly. We are very happy with the service provided by A-Grade and would definitley contact them again if we need related works in the future.

On reading all the reviews on google regarding this company I was keen to utilize their services.They have poor communication - the owner Jeff rushed to quote and wanted to start straight away. We were keen to get the job done so we started straight away.I wish we didn’t, the job seemed rushed and became an inconvenience to the Owner Jeff.Jeff made recommendations and given his experience I went with these recommendations.Jeff was heavily involved and was annoyed that his worker Brett was not available due to the current Pandemic.As the client it didn’t worry us as this is the climate we now live in.Post completing the job there were a few issues and we requested the team to come back and fix these issues.The excuses and follow up was extremely poor and it seemed like they had completed the job and left and now they don’t care anymore.Post multiple calls and minimal follow upThe owner Jeff informed me he would come out with Brett and fix the issues. I informed him I would Ike to be here for this and he said we don’t need you there. We agreed he would inform me when they were coming and low and behold Brett just turned up and no communication prior. Brett is a hard worker and is pressured by Jeff to complete jobs quickly and not to standard.Once Brett had completed the fix up, I received and text message not even a call from Jeff demanding final payment.I wish I didn’t send the final payment through please see photo below.This is the state the floor has been left in.Awaiting a response from Jeff I am sure I won’t hear a thing.My advice is go with another company.

Please, Please get a written quote with these people and Please get other quotes from others in this industry. And if you can, ask to see some completed jobs- you are welcome to see the job they did for us. I believe too expensive for the work they did for us..

The floor sanding work of this team is quite good. I have done flooring of my entire house and its looking very good. Keep up the good work!
