Balkan Grill Bar & Restaurant
My freind and I had the Balkan mixed grill and grilled pepper entre. Food and service was amazing! all the meat was cooked to perfection and there was plenty of food for the both of us (who both eat large portions). It was suitable for my dairy free requirement. Pricing was reasonable. Will definitely be visiting again.

The food is disappointing and the prices are shocking.Really taking advantage of poor people missing their homeland and forcing them to pay ridiculous amounts for poor quality food.Do NOT get the 'kajmak' as I guarantee you it is just feta cheese mixed with who knows what.It is NOT kajmak, I promise you.Staff are nice and the atmosphere is OK too.There are some amazing Balkan restaurants in both, chapel Street and South Melbourne that are 100x better (and cheaper).

My partner and I came here tonight for dinner and had the banquet. It was delicious! The restaurant is very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We will be recommending this restaurant and coming back. Thank you

Amazing restaurant, super friendly staff great atmosphere. The food was sensational, I felt like I was back over seas eating at a restaurant in sarajevo. If I could give more stars I would. Make a booking and take your family down here. Will 100% be back with my family. Thank you for such a great experience

This place is amazing. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. Not only my favourite place for Balkan cuisine but one of my favourite restaurants overall. The owner has created a really great experience here that is the perfect mix of great food, friendly staff and good ambience. Highly recommend the Ćevapi, it’s arguably the best in Melbourne.

WARNING: this place has hidden charges that they do not tell you about upon entry into their restaurant.I walked into this restaurant to be greeted by the owner and sat down. The owner and the workers did not mention the extra charge that you pay for the two musicians the venue had as entertainment.This is the first venue we have ever visited that had a hidden charge, that was not disclosed to us.This is illegal and a breach of Australian Consumer laws.My friends and I were not happy as the bill was $15 × each person that was there, so our bill was significantly higher than what we budgeted for. I and my friends will not be dining in this venue again.There are more honest Balkan Grill places in Melbourne.Hope this review helps others, so they dont get caught out in the same dodgy scenario.

First time attending and it was amazing. I was hesitant at the location but do not let that be a deterrant. The food was authentic Balkan Style. From the salads to the grilled meats. There was meat free options which was great. They did not miss a beat! The atmosphere was a friendly family vibe with plenty of kids happily eating away. The desserts where amazing. I could not fault anything. Will be back again. Well done on a amazing little under the radar resturant.

The best Sarajevo cevapi ever i felt like i was back home. The taste was delious to perfection texture, flavour melts in your mouth and presentation so many words cant describe how amazing it is. The restaurant and team are very professional the food is amazing money well spent and worth every dollar. Balkan grill amazing with kids corner menu for our little Balkan babies in the community. We always come to you guys for this amazing food and atmosphere. I wont change nothing the cevapi especially is exactly the same as in Sarajevo your team and management and the best in Australia and even in the world.
