A great range well organized with online booking. Some ammo ear muffs and range needs on sale. The people are super helpful. Will continue to go very enjoyable

Literally everything about this place is the reason why shooting sport participation is dying in SEQ. Insulting, draconian attitudes toward literally anyone who is not a protected species in this alleged ‘club for the public’ environment. Anyone who is not a member of this ‘club within a club’ nepotistic cesspool of arrogance, entitlement and cantankerous nonsense will experience completely unwarranted hatred and aggression from staff as a new, experienced or professional shooter. Fear not, these people don’t discriminate in their desperate bids to discriminate against anyone walking through their doors. The single load rule here was the straw that broke the camel’s back for me. Clearly none of these people have a passport, have travelled overseas and have actively sought out a skerrick of worldly perspective grounded in reality. There are several other options out there folks that will respect you and your donation of hard earned money in membership fees. The costs they pass on to shooters here is, at best, a total scam. At worst, this place is running the most blatantly obvious Ponzi scheme I’ve ever had the misfortune of witnessing.Clubs I have attended in the States, Germany, France and Canada welcome shooters from overseas with open arms. Just show your passport, hire out a firearm of your choosing and, voila, enjoy some group therapy with, get this, no single load policy because, crazy idea I know, but you’re in an incredibly safe, controlled environment shooting a firearm safely down-range under supervision by an experience range officer!Do yourself a favour and give these guys a miss folks. Save yourself the grief of being disappointed and feeling embarrassed in front of friends and family who are treated like animals instead of paying patrons, effectively quashing any interest they may have otherwise had in applying for a license and getting into this amazing, incredibly safe and family friendly Australian pastime!

Range itself is fine. The booking and registration system is awful. $5 for the privilege of holding a spot but can’t register details ahead of time.Out of a 2 hour session, 45 minutes is signing on and hanging targets. For two people that’s $84 for barely 90 minutes of range time.Could be so much more efficient but doesn’t seem to be any interest from the SSAA in improving experience for their members.

I love coming here. The staff are friendly and the facilities are amazing. Definitely a place for every shooter in Brisbane to visit.

I enjoyed my time shooting here and the ammo is very cheap here only issue is this place screams public servants. We are only allowed to shoot one round and when we were on break and I went to leave with my rifle packed up with the bolt out I was treated like I was holding a loaded gun at the bloke. Also this place is a bit too overpriced for the shoot. If this place calmed down with the restrictions and got a bit of good old North Queensland mentality in them then it would be a great place to have a shoot.

Get rid of that “load and fire single rounds only” rule it needs to go and there is no reason for it….pistol shooters can load up 10 rounds and do an ammo dump but bench shooters are not allowed, I find SSAA brisbane over self regulate….probably why I dropped my membership…..$5 booking fee needs to be dropped Ipswich does not charge a booking fee….

Took the family for the try shooting" package and we wanted to give a special shout out to Earl for his excellent guidance and making it a safe but action packed experience. Everyone was so friendly and made us feel very comfortable. Also very impressed with the implementation health and safety

With all that's going on with Covid the team have done an amazing job to continue with keeping the range open and constantly sanitising everything. The team are always willing to help as best as they can. As long as you do the right thing you will have an amazing time

Facilities are ok, but review will remain 1 star due to the rule only allowing one round to be loaded and fired at a time. I've never heard of any shooting range anywhere in Australia let alone the rest of the world having such a ridiculously out of touch rule.

Over half an hour to sign on! If you are the last person on the line, you will be pushed to sprint to instal your target, one of the officers were extremely rude and angry telling me I am holding off people on the first round when I was last person signed up and I wasn’t late! Whereas it’s them not to open early and facilitate a smooth sign on. My experience was while ago, but that stopped me from using the range as often as I like!
