A complete RIP OFF! I don't usually query invoices and have never written a review online but feel very strongly about this. When I did query the invoice (as I nearly choked when I got it), after multiple emails they didn't even have the decency to meet in person to discuss the query. I was being fleeced. The response was that they were delivering value for money. Good value and money for them. Not a good look for the company. If you have to use them get a quote. (My big error). If I could give them zero stars I would. The workmanship was average, the price tag exorbitant.(This is not spam and is nothing personal)

We had a great experience at Midcoast Boatyard and Marine recently. The staff could not have been more helpful and professional. As a female boat owner I particularly appreciated the attitude of staff members which was welcoming and inclusive - not necessarily the norm in my experience! The invoice was extremely reasonable. We will certainly be back again!

Mid-Coast Boatyard and Marine are a mighty fine team. They are solutions-focused and cost-efficient. They think outside the square and they deliver quality results on time and to budget.

Terrible workmanship, might be alright for a paint job but dont get this place to do anything big. When their work fails they take no responsibility, just lie and deflect the blame. Honesty, integrity and accountability are not qualities within this business.

As part of our return from Sail Port Stephens, we got Midcoast to lift our boat for 4 days on the hard for a mix of DIY and yard work. They were very flexible and accommodating with the timing of the lift (plus NCYC was good marina to wait for the lift). Once on the hard, the yard was very relaxed and friendly. The staff took and active interest in our DIY and frequently offered welcome tips and advice. Even though the yard was busy, there didn't feel like any huge time pressure to rush the boat back into the water and we were given every opportunity to finish all work and they even came in on the weekend to launch us after letting all products dry. Price was very reasonable and so much less than Sydney prices.Finally, we really enjoyed our time in Newcastle as a great place to visit.
