Very rude, arrogant and disrespectful staff that think they can treat and speak to people like absolute dogs. Obviously it’s a very hostile, unprofessional, unhappy and volatile environment and they all need to learn communication and interpersonal skills. All of these disabilities that they have stems from their upbringing and childhood trauma and experience so I suggest that they all need to get some sort of counseling and medical help to address their issues.

CHANGE THE GIANT SIGN WITH YOUR OPENING HOURS. THEY ARE WRONG. wasted my time. Won't bother coming back

Disappointing they couldn't put their Easter trading hours on the door so we didn't have to wait around for a couple of hours (from interstate) to find out they weren't opening ☹️

No longer “Stepney Salvage” this shop is mainly filled with reproduction goods, many of which are from overseas manufactured origin. All goods are reasonably priced, and appear to be excellent value. This is a great place to find a fireplace, mantle piece, old style lighting switches and door knobs, mirrors, doors, old Adelaide photos and timber elements for your heritage home. They lost one star for me when I visited because the manager/owner didn’t take my query about origin of timber seriously: when I asked where the timber came from for some elements, his answer was “trees” (I’m not going to buy timber that has no confirmed source of origin). They also lost a star from me for moving away from the salvage business (I understand it is likely more profitable to be like Bunnings and import new stuff to sell, but salvage is important to someone like me who cares about re-use of building materials instead of buying new). I will however certainly visit again when I need a new heritage light switch!

Terrible service received in store today . Guy was rude start to finish . Acted like having to serve me was painful , I spent money on a gift for my partner but will never shop there again.It’s the second time I’ve received bad service , last time from the female employee.Very disappointing

Fantastic furniture and artwork. I wish I had a larger house and not a tiny little unit. Some great prices and extreme discounts.
