Pillow Talk Mittagong

Staff friendly and willing to help. Have to say I love pillow talk. They have so many lovely things I always want to change my decor. Yes have spent plenty there in the past, always find something I didn't know I needed!!! Just a little disappointed in recent quilt cover options but think that could be a hangover from COVID impacted supplies. I do like the quality of products though.

Extremely disappointed with the service at Pillow Talk in Mittagong over the last few weeks. We have been doing a lot of re-decorating & we have spent a decent amount of money there. On each occasion that we’ve been there, we have not been greeted or served. When at the counter buying, the staff are quite rude & unfriendly. On one of the days, I counted 6 staff members in the store - all too busy unpacking boxes & tidying to serve any of the customers in the store. One was even having a conversation with somebody that they knew.We went in to return something over the weekend & weren’t greeted but abruptly asked if we had checked in. We waited 5 minutes for the store manger to come so they could process the refund only to be told that they couldn’t refund one of the items of 6.99 when it was 1 day out of date. Despite how much we had bought & how much we had spent the previous week. The manager replied with ‘we can’t keep bending the rules all the time’.We definitely won’t be shopping there again anytime soon, which is disappointing because the stock & prices are great, unfortunately the service is horrible. Good customer service is non-negotiable especially when the business is built on customers buying.

Lovely helpful staff. I rang in the morning asking if they would put something away for me to pick up in the afternoon . When I arrived it was waiting for me. They had some great specials on also. I would recommend pillow talk.

Pillows were not taking to each other last week, could be because the staff manhandling them

One lady very helpful, but the manager was positively rude - will choose Adairs instead next time. Very unpleasant

I purchased European pillows with cotton filling and the store person told me to leave them in the sun and they will fluff up. They didn’t and lacked shape and remained flat. I took them back to the store the following week end and was surprised to be told that they don’t refund or exchange on pillows that have been opened. There was no sign at the register and we not told at point of purchase. Apparently it says it on the receipt in fine print.The pillows were faulty and the very abrupt store person finally agreed to a refund. She was not happy!Buyer beware - read the fine print

Very rude staff, we got asked to leave because we were browsing after being in the store for 1 minute. I will never be going back AGAIN!!! If its the company's policy for no browsing why should the shop be open?

Terrible customer service. 4 staff all talking around the back table. 3 customers waiting at the counter to be served. When I walked to the back and ask for service one of the staff mumbles something then they all laughed.

Iv always had the best of care from the staff,so very helpful to a real old gal!I'm slow but they are so very nice.Prices are very good and I love the displays be nice when we can come and browse.x

This is the first time I have had bad Service at Pillow Talk, Mittagong. This sales person was at the counter folding stock, when I walked in. No greeting, So when I made eye contact, I asked if the sales were still on, she looked at me and just said ‘2 catalogues’. OK.... so I think to myself 2 catalogues, what does that mean.... I think she must have misunderstood me (still sourly folding stock), so I again said ... ‘I was wondering if the advertised sale was still on in the shop’. She looked at me as thought I was an idiot and again said ‘2 catalogues’. I stood there looking at her (as though she was the stupid one) and said nothing, she then indicated with her chin at 2 piles of catalogues on the side of the counter and said ‘only in the catalogues’. I thanked her and started looking through the first catalogue, (she was still folding stock), page by page went by and having nearly reached the end of the first catalogue, when she asked if was I looking for something specific, (hallelujah... I am finally getting some interest) yes, I was looking for a doona, where they on sale..... yes she said down the back. Long way down the back and they could be anywhere..... however, thank goodness I met up with another lovely Sales lady who asked if she could help and directed me to the doona section. Now was that really that hard? It costs nothing to be nice, especially if it’s your job to deal with public. Go hide if you can’t handle it.C Furlong-Green
