This was our second visit to this hotel and we really enjoyed it. I really like the great collection of plants and all the plants are so healthy. The rooms are lovely, the verandas are great to sit and read, Laurel Park is ten minutes away. And then, what could be more pleasant, after a walk in winter, than sitting by the fireplace with a cup of tea.The house itself is so beautiful. I want to return to this place, which is what I plan.

I've lost count of my stays in this wonderful hotel! Venue, styling, staff are magnificent, friendly and welcoming. Rooms are beautiful. Attention to detail is faultless. Breakfast on the verandah is always a delight, come rain or sunshine.I have since heard that the property has been sold and is now a private residence. (Updates February 2023.)

We had a wonderful two night stay at Vacy hall. It is a beautiful house and very well located for access to town. The breakfast was great and room amenities well thought out. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back.

Vacy Hall is a gorgeous heritage building with on-site parking, surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens. We had the king suite which was spacious, comfortable and heated through a central heating system. There is also the choice of a fireplace for an additional $25 each time you light it. The room was styled according to the era of the building with modern features including tea and coffee making facilities and a TV allowing a choice of Netflix movie for those days where you may just prefer to spend a couple of hours in the room. The host, Graham, was most hospitable and shared his knowledge of the local area to recommend places to visit for a meal. We decided to order from the inhouse breakfast menu and the meal did not disappoint! The food was delicious and of a generous serve. Vacy Hall is quiet and in a good location with restaurants within walking distance.

Vacy Hall is spectacular. 12 private rooms with their bathrooms (ours was across the hall) in a 130+ year old huge villa, filled with chandilliers, fresh flowers, soft yellow lite lamps, art, books, artifacts and wooden furniture and furnishings through out. A cosy lounge with open fire, private breakfast dining on the verandah outside our room, excellent TV, mini kitchenette, Bath robes, easy parking, quiet, lovely staff, delightful garden, super food, birds, fairy lights in the trees, secure entrances and don't really see or hear anything of anyone else. Quite an incredible experience to be there in the weekend our Queen died, felt like being in Balmoral Castle. Electric blankets were a cosy addition. Excellent value for one of a kind experience. Close to shops, in a quiet residential area near flower show park (starts with L). Safe and secure. They have just sold the property, so fingers crossed it stays as a boutique B&B. Magical, and they have their own pet magpie named after the lovely cook, Cardine (spelling?) All the best. Wonderful memories made.

3 days at 'home'. Immersed in Vacy Hall and surrounds . Fireside comfort. Country best breakfasts and grand old gardens. Thanks Vacy. Towoomba never disappoints. Departing with a deep sigh.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Vacy Hall. It was just what we needed to relax and reconnect. Lovely to be so close to everything in Toowoomba. Vacy Hall has charm and elegance. It was like going back in time which I'm all for. I could have stayed there forever. Thank you. We will remember our stay fondly.

Beautiful rooms, very comfortable beds. We were greeted by Graham who was very welcoming and filled us in with where everything was and how to use everything. TV was great - could watch Netflix and catch-up TV. Our stay included continental breakfast with good variety which included my favourite - soaked overnight porridge with brown sugar and milk. They do have fireplaces but because of allergies, decided not to risk it - they do have very good reverse cycle air conditioning which came in very handy because it was very cold!! Really enjoyed our stay.

Loved our visit to Vacy Hall. A wonderful trip back in time but with all the mod cons of plumbing and electricity. A beautiful grand old lady with lovely antiques surrounded by stately gardens. Our host Graham was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us some great tips on dining. We can't wait to come back again. The breakfasts were superb and catered for all tastes.
