Kallista Primary School

A beautiful school in a stunning environment, enriching the whole primary school experience. With dedicated and much loved teachers, and a strong sense of care and community.It has an incredible kitchen garden program (seriously amazing!!) and strong art and music programs, that really make it stand out as a small to medium size school.It’s student led initiatives, local walks, and excursions capitalalize on its surrounds which make for a really special learning space. Not to mention the resident echidna and wildlife that visit frequently, (much to the kids delight!)With 8yrs (3 kids) at KPS, and a few to go still, our family are very happy to call Kallista our school.

Kallista Primary is wonderful, my kids love going to school. The teachers are dedicated and caring, they make learning engaging and fun. The curriculum is rich which has nurtured so many interests and abilities in my kids, they receive a wonderful education. A beautiful school with an amazing community, we are very happy at Kallista.

My three children have & still currently attending this beautiful small school set in the forest. The principal, Christine Finighan and the team of dedicated staff work tirelessly with great commitment and genuine affection for their students. Being a small school, students are not lost in the system and special needs can be catered for. 5 stars for Kallista Primary School!

All of my three children have attended Kallista primary school and I believe it was the best move we ever made. Living in Tecoma we chose the school based on the curriculum, the awesome teachers and the beautiful surrounds. All of these aspects have delivered in spades and most of all our children love it and look forward to going! Double thumbs up.

Love our wonderful school in the forest! Looked at so many schools when choosing and Kallista just stood out. It has a warmth, charm and genuine nurturing environment, amazing staff, rich curriculum with an absolute standout kitchen garden program- (our kids cook 12 dish banquet feasts from produce they've grown and harvested in the garden) and top quality art classes (weekly, as opposed to commonly fortnightly in other schools) exploring art history techniques and creating fabulous art which is always on display. There's so much more worth mentioning but what's important to me is welcome parental involvement and a truly lovely community that surrounds all our gorgeous children. Couldn't be happier here and my kids adore their school.

Our family loves the small community of Kallista Primary School. We have always been welcomed and supported from our very first interaction. Our daughter has thrived within the nurturing and inquisitive manner of the school, its staff and the students. Her weaknesses are now a strength, and her strengths continue to develop daily!

This school so far as offered our child a warm and beautiful learning environment. I am in admiration with their art program and the wonderful teachers. We also value the practical outdoor sports areas around the school yard, including an oval and multiple basketball courts with one undercover, giving children lots of outdoor exploration possibilities. With the school nestled in the village, close to essential services, the sense of community is undeniable.

A beautiful school nestled in the forest. Dedicated teachers the time and again go above and beyond for their students. Strong sense of community and engagement. Perfect size to allow both individual student care yet large enough for specialist programs. All four of our kids have completed or currently with the school and couldn’t be happier.

Almost has been an amazingly supportive and caring school for my daughter. They go above and beyond to look after their student well being. Recently we had to convert to online learning and the school.has been just amazing in their efforts to keep every one on track happy and supported in any way needed. Very greatful to have my daughter attending such a caring place!
