I called to ask about replacing indicator bulb front and owner stopped what he was doing and fitted bulb I had given him and asked how much I owed him...he just said no charge. Rare quality of service now adays

Darren is a man of few words but getting my Mazda3 fixed was a stress-free experience. The problem was diagnosed within 5 minutes and the next day I picked up the car with it fully serviced and a couple of things fixed (including a window issue that another mechanic hadn't wanted to touch). The painting of the tyres, something I had been meaning to do myself, was a nice surprise, too. The invoice listed all the individual items for parts and labour and seemed completely fair to me. I'm moving to the other side of town but I will continue to take my car to Ascot Automotive.

Recently my daughter purchased a used vehicle from a well known second hand car yard in Hendra, Brisbane. After 6 weeks of ownership it broke down and was, understandably taken back to the mechanics at the place of purchase. The car yard diagnosed that the car had a damaged fuel pump as a consequence of using contaminated fuel". This diagnosis cost $789 and an option given to install an second hand unit for $500 or $1500 for new.We sort a second opinion as we did not trust the actions and responses provided by the dealer. We were recommended to use Echelon Automotive. My daughter had her vehicle towed to Echelon where she was greeted by a gentleman who had stayed back after hours just to accommodate my daughter - Fantastic service! The following day the same gentleman/mechanic fixed the vehicle within 2 hours and at a fantastic price. On behalf of my daughter and myself I cannot praise this business enough. They are sincere

I just needed someone to check the tyres and oil and water before a big road trip and didn't know how to do it myself. Took the car down to Darren and he couldn't have been more generous. He did it for me on the spot at no charge. What old fashioned local service. I will definitely use Ascot Automotive to service my car next time.
