Carla from Splendour Tours is one of the best organisers of individual tours that I could recommend to anyone. She organised two individual tours for myself and partner being a two day trip to the Blue Mountains and a one day trip to Hunter Valley. The guides for both trips (Steve for the Blue Mountains and Ben for Hunter Valley) were an excellent choice showing an expertise for the areas that they were showing to us and emphasising Carla abilities. Carla also assisted us with other aspects of our trip to Australia when asked and responded to emails quickly. I would as stated above recommend Carla and Splendour Tours to anyone who is looking for an individual tour away from the usual bus tours with numerous people when most of the time you are just a number. With Splendour Tours you are an individual and treated as such. Both our trips were fun as well as informative. If your looking for a tour around Sydney give Carla a call you will not be disappointed.

Seriously the highlight of our recent trip to Australia! Found Splendour via an online search in an attempt to book a trip to the Blue Mountains that wasn't touristy (we tend to shy away from big tourist groups), but something really special and informative. Our guide at Splendour created an itinerary for us that was absolutely perfect. She really took the time to get to know us and our preferences (we wanted an active tour; lots of photo ops and lots of wildlife) and designed an incredible day for us! Our guide even gave some great suggestions for the other days of our trip - so incredibly helpful! If you are looking for off-the-beaten path, unique, or just a really special experience, Splendour is the way to go! They respond quickly, have knowledgeable and very experienced guides, and really care about you getting the most out of your trip (unlike some of the larger, basic companies). Cannot recommend them more!!

Carly is tremendous! She truly tailors your experience. As she has developed great relationships with well-renowned contacts in and around Sydney, it really makes it enjoyable and personalized. She understands your needs and brings you to areas that appeal to you and your group. Touring the way it should be, like a local. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique experience. Love it!

What a fabulous day! From beginning to end, Carly did everything to ensure we had the best time at the Hunter. Carefully chosen winetastings (without feeling overwhelmed), a delicious, relaxed lunch in a beautiful restaurant, and just being driven through such spectacular scenery. Even though I am a Sydneysider, its easy to forget how stunning this trip to the Hunter is. I can definitely recommend this tour and indeed Splendour and Carly (it is her company) to locals and tourists alike. Thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing day.

Could not recommend Splendour Tailored Tours enough!!We booked a day tour around the hunter valley with 4 friends and received the VIP treatment! Carly booked all winery tastings, lunch and recommended some great winery options based on our preferences.With Covid-19 restrictions making it hard to simply pop into a winery, Carly make this difficult time, extremely easy.Worth every cent!!

Enlightening aboriginal experience was a brilliant start to our holiday in Sydney. Carly looked after all our needs (we were a big group with lots of dietary requirements), she booked some stunning restaurants for us. However the stand out memories are the sea plane experience finishing with an afternoon on a luxury boat on the harbour, the sunset was picture postcard stuff. Would definitely recommending Carly and her team, and use her again in the future. We can't wait to come back.

My 14 year old daughter and I did a farther/daughter trip to Australia (from USA) and we spent a few days in Sydney. Our travel agent, Jeff Traugot (Traugot Travel, Inc.), arranged a few special excursions. For our Sydney portion of the trip, Jeff had arranged a couple of excursions with Carly Rea of Splendour Tailored Tours. The “Tailored Tours” part of the name is truly accurate. Carly arranged a tailored tour of the Blue Mountains. This was no run of the mill tour. Our personal guide, Andy, met us in our hotel lobby and escorted us to our private Audi Q3 (looked like it was just driven right out of the dealership showroom). Andy had fresh fruit, hot tea and cold water waiting for us. Before we went to the Blue Mountains, we stopped at Featherdale Wildlife Park where we were met by one of the senior zoo keepers for a one on one tour of the park where you have real encounters with some of the wild life such as Koalas and Wallabys, to name a couple. Andy then drove us to the mountains and took us to several places that no tour bus could ever come close to reaching which had views to die for. Andy had suggested several cafes and restaurants for lunch within some the quaint towns that lined the Blue Mountains ridge lines where we enjoyed our lunch. Andy was also extremely knowledgeable of the terrain, wildlife, history and horticulture of the region. On top of all that, he is an excellent photographer (he captured many great moments for us).All in all, my experience with Splendour Tailored Tours was out of this world and was worth every cent!

Splendour Tailored Tours was absolutely fantastic! The bespoke, personal, unique tours were truly phenomenal. My family and I loved our time doing fun excursions and experiencing Sydney with a local, as a local. I highly recommend Splendour! The care, friendliness and professionalism was top notch! Can't wait to come back to Sydney again and I will certainly incorporate more fun excursions and tours, perhaps a cooking class or gastronomy tour with Spendour TT! The BEST!
