Appalling customer service, the worst experience at a salon I've ever had in my entire life.Please note: I'm only giving one star, at all (so it’s actually a positive in this case) thanks to a stylist named Candace and the price. If all of our experiences had been with Candace I’d possibly have left at least a 4 star review.I’ve unfortunately had to cut this version of the review short due to Google’s word restrictions, but I’d now be giving zero stars if I could (because of a “senior” hairdresser and NOT because of Candace). I’m very laid back and easily pleased – so this was a truly awful experience.One of the older, “senior” hairdressers (who claims to have had “30 years of experience”) immediately complained when she was politely asked to take a bit more length off a child’s hair then she had. She then blamed her client (because apparently this request is reasonable to every other hairdresser everywhere else, but not to her) before going off on a long, loud rant where this woman publicly berated and humiliated her paying customer (in front of anyone in the salon at the time, including children).The said hairdresser then actually left the room for a few minutes (while the shocked client and children were paying and about to leave), before actually returning a few minutes later and literally immediately started loudly mouthing off (practically yelling) and abusing the client AGAIN and accusing us of stuff that did not happen!!! It appears she was projecting, because the (new) stuff she started to loudly accuse us were complete fabrications.The owner of the salon, serving us at the register, stood there not saying a word. Perhaps she was shocked by this woman's unprovoked and unwarranted outburst as well, or perhaps she is used to this woman behaving this way?The rude woman, still ranting and loudly abusing us behind her as she swept, pointed towards the owner at one point, indicating to us that the owner would back up this woman and her atrocious, unacceptable behaviour towards clients, so sadly perhaps it’s the latter and she condones her employee treating clients this way?Either way, the owner (Sharon) never once even attempted to say anything to or try to calm down her ridiculous and rude employee that obviously has no idea of the meaning of customer service, at all. Or that she’s paid to provide a service.Nor did Sharon (to this day) even TRY to offer an apology in any way at all, over the inexcusable and unnecessary treatment of her clients who had done absolutely nothing wrong.All she did was stand there and let it all happen and then expect us to pay full price for a job that was not even finished and even after she witnessed this woman's outburst and did nothing (we had to go elsewhere to finish the child's cut because of this hairdresser's" complaining and abuse!).Prior to this I had been to this salon twice to try it out. The first time a lovely stylist named Candace did my hair and she was great. The second and third (and final!) time I had this other horrible "senior" woman.Following my second appointment there (the first time with this horrible woman)

First time here last week.Shoutout to Jemma ☺️ for doing such an AMAZING colour & cut on my hair! By far the BEST hairdresser and HAIR I’ve ever had and I’m particular. Thank you times a mil xo so happy!!

Been to sonjas many times for a haircut and eyebrow waxing, love the service & the environment. All the ladies are very lovely & professional. My family have been regular customers at Sonja’s for many years. Would definitely recommend.

I wasn't sure what I wanted but after speaking to the young lady I realised I was in good hands and I left very happy with what was done,had a little bounce in my step and to top it off my hubby loved my style and colour with highlights.Very pleased and will be one of their regulars.Many Thanks Hairworkz Eagleby.

Visited few weeks ago to dye my hair. Staff were friendly - offered tea / coffee.Comfortable little place where a lot ofLocals go.The job they did on my hair was perfect.

I booked here after seeing good google reviews. I was not disappointed. I got a good wash/cut/blowdry at a very reasonable cost. Highly recommended.

Sonja has been my hairdresser for many many years, I always get awesome colours, foil then the other colour bring it all to life.

First time here, and it was a GREAT experience. Normally I am petrified of hairdressers after so many bad experiences, but walking in and made to feel comfortable (on top of a great hair cut, and colour), was amazing. Majority of the other ladies in the salon having services had travelled over an hour to have their hair done here, and I can definitely see why!
