How sad to see this shop change dramatically. I was brought up going to Vinnies and always loved going in there. Today, however, has changed my mind. It now looks like a boutique and I was not comfortable in looking through things. One of the workers in the store today actually looked down her nose at me.. and believe me it took all my strength to not have a word with her. How dare she and why does she think she is better? Well no she is not..You don't belong in a area where you judge people... Growing up VINNIES was always were for the people doing it hard and people would meet up have a look and grabs some bargains and most of all was made to feel welcome. Now the Vinnies in Yass is for people who earn alot of money.. please bring back the way it was as this way is not for appropriate for the ones that struggle

I have always loved going and seeing the volunteer ladies at Yass Vinnies. They have a wealth of life experience and knowledge and many of the items that are found at Yass Vinnies are antiques and truly I have gotten some amazing one-offs. You can't expect to go once to a shop like Vinnies, and think you know what happens daily. Opp shopping or vintage shopping as it is called now, takes an attitude of respect for the the many stories in the shop. I have found Vinnies Yass particularly classy and I have learnt so much from what I have discovered there. The shop is always quite artistically put together, and it is my favourite thing to do Sat morning. Today I got unexpected designer perfume, beautiful vintage baskets and super cute jewellery. I have recently gotten some surprisingly famous valuable records and it just goes to show the depth and breadth of the Yass population. It doesn't hurt that everything goes to a very good cause. RESPECT YASS VINNIES RESPECT!!!

This was once a genuine op shop with wonderful options for those in need. It is now just another boutique with extraordinary pricing. Many options are equal to or more than the original prices.

Way too expensive. Clothes Prices at about 70% of retail prices. Could halve the prices on almost everything in the store. I have visited about 30 op shops in the past 2 weeks and this is the most expensive, more so than boutique ones in Melbourne.

very disappointed. Staff very disrespectful. Staff follow you around and called me poor. Absolutely outrageous. Definitely not coming back after I got kicked out for trying on a dress. Over priced for daggy fake outright ugly things. Do not go here go to a different charity store.

Expensive, overpriced books, clothes and most other items. You can buy new KHub clothes cheaper than Vinnies. They employ store managers, IT workers and many others, so not all the money goes to charity.

The prices in here are frankly exorbitant and above the heads of most people who would want to shop here. In today's fast fashion society, I try my best to source my clothes second hand. This becomes impossible when the places originally meant to be for the lower income part of society price items higher than is affordable. In here, I saw a used pair of jeans for $35. Most shirts I looked at were at least $15, including items originally bought from SHEIN - where the original buyer almost definitely paid less than this.I have worked in charity op shops before in a large tourist destination so I understand the kind of money that is needed to run places like this, but even then we were hesitant to mark a used shirt at anything over $5.

This was the most expensive op shop I have ever been to. Who is doing the pricing? A Susan Gray jumper was $45 more expensive than new..I couldn't wait to get out, will never visit again! Jenny
