Nightcap at Exeter Hotel
Who knew that staying above a pub could be so nice. Well it was. Spacious clean bedroom and bathroom. TV with Netflix and great staff and good food downstairs.

Great customer service.The room was very nice, compact and perfect for a quick stay or few days.Very clean, comfy and the bathroom was fantastic.Complimentary soft drink and water is lovely.Air con is perfect! Free wifi too.Parking on street or close by.

I would say around average, staff were friendly and helpful. Room is clean and modern, BUT the water pressure and the water flow rate in shower is really LOW. Most visitors n people who have to live in a hotel keen to a enjoyable shower after a sweaty day, definitely not here.

Nightcap at Exeter Hotel
Good customer service, rooms serviced daily. Stayed in room 2 and asked to change and they were very accommodating. Room 2 is directly above the door to enter the hotel and everytime someone opens it, it slams shut and wakes you up. It's also next the side street and depending on street noise from cars and people at night, may be disruptive. The room needs some upkeep, toilet door doesn't shut, towel rail broken away from the wall. Kettle, milk, mugs, glasses and wine glasses (last 2 chilled in the fridge on arrival and much appreciated). Nice bed and great shower. Please note that the hotel is a small one located in the same building as the Exeter hotel and parking is available at the back or one the street so is quite convenient. 15 minute walk to the beach/pier and under 10 to the train station. Also great food in the hotel and room service also available. For under $400 for 3 nights over a weekend, I'd 100% stay again. Thankyou Brett and the team for a great stay.

Great location, walking distance to cafes, shops and restaurants. Friendly staff. Room was clean but small but bathroom quite spacious. Complimentary drinks at the bar. Had dinner at the pub downstairs, it was delicious. Will stay again.

Matea and her team are AMAZING!! This recently refurbished historical hotel is perfectly located near the beach central to shops & attractions yet still quiet from traffic with a warm country appeal. Matea's team work together to deliver the best customer experience with Nicole managing the accommodation (always with a smile on her face), Sandy's proud, immaculate cleaning & Brett the master of everything else. I've stayed there multiple times & every interaction is about making YOU happy. They even accommodate our family comfort dog in certain areas allowing us all to eat as a family together. Along with the excellent service, the food is delicious & plenty of it with lots of choice and the prices are very reasonable to. Thank you for always making me feel like a member of your family and for making it harder to leave. I wouldn't stay anywhere else!!
