Absolutely disgusting place despite my numerous calls and emails, the manager failed to provide the contact details of owners what an absolute thug. Avoid at all cost...Here's the email sent.Just want to touch base in regards to the booking system, we experienced something terrible and want to share our experience about your property with our recent stay.We preferred to pay by card but the staff insisted on paying cash and when we asked for our receipt at the time of checkout we were told, it's not available.

Avoid this motel until someone cares enough to renovate.The room was dark and musty, couldn’t open the only window.My feet were dirty from the filthy carpet. Bathroom was clean but had no towels.Lighting was either a bright fluro or a bare ceiling globe.It’s a shame as the motel is very close to town and a good solid building for a responsible ethical owner.

Not bad for one night stay. Friendly staff. Has all the essentials. Could be cleaner.

We had a wonderful stay at Cumberland Motel on the weekend! The room was clean and roomy, and the staff were amazing. They went over and beyond to help us out. I highly recommend this motel for anyone visiting the Hunter Region.

My Room had dank air on entry, so I had to use aircon, I tried to open windows but it was hard to open.Room was clean and whole hotel looks nice and cosy.What troubled me was shower screen which was curtain style ( not glass as I prefere) and while showering what wet curtain stick on me few times which I don't like.

Budget hotel. Very clean. Friendly staff. Needs refurbishment. Reasonable location to visit Hunter Valley wineries.

Nothing to complain about here - comfortable beds, big clean rooms, big bathrooms, aricons and next door to a bistro restaurant. Definitely our next stop over should we drive into the hunter valley region again

I had an amazing experience at the Cumberland Motor inn. This one is the perfect space for family, friends, and couples as well. I went there with my love, the high-quality services, the room especially the food was awesome. Service top-notch perfect motel for a weekend getaway. The free breakfast menu grabs our attention! The Food was so fresh and they offered breakfast upon arrival. We booked a business single room that consists of 1 double bed with single air-conditioned room features.Kitchen and laundry facilities are available. Basically, guests should not be worried about anything. One of the best places in the town at an affordable price.
