I have used these guys twice (once in QLD, once in NSW) before and I've always been really satisfied. Customer service is 10/10. Only downfall is the communication of the delivery drivers on delivery day. I have had a great experience & not so great experience. I would suggest if you are waiting for a delivery on that day, to make sure you don't have anything planned as the timeline for delivery can be a bit unclear. Otherwise, super happy & would use again!!

It is very rare for me to write a negative review but my experience has prompted me to warn others. I used to love Appliances online and raved about their amazing customer service. I bought my first appliance with them over 20 years. Unfortunately, customer service does not seem to be high on their priority list anymore. I purchased a tv from home clearance for my new property in Brisbane that I bought last week. I drove from the Gold Coast to Brisbane to be there for the TV delivery. When we went to set up the TV it was completely broken. When I rang I was told that I had to wait until Monday to speak with a Manager. At that time the customer service person should have advised that the policy is not to replace broken items but to provide a refund. Had he done so, I would have gone to The Good Guys and purchased another TV. I rang first thing on Monday morning to be told the computers were down and to call back after 9am. When I finally spoke with someone I was told that I would not be getting a replacement TV but instead a refund. When I mentioned my disappointment and asked if the could pick up the broken TV after 5pm that or the next day I was told that they could not guarantee a time and therefore would keep coming back everyday until someone was available which most likely would be the weekend (don't they realise normal people have jobs?) I suggested that I leave a key in the lockbox for them to let themselves in and again this suggestion was dismissed. I asked them to call me back when they had a workable solution. 3 days later and I still have not heard back from anyone. As such, in addition to driving and wasting a day going up to Brisbane to get the TV, I am still waiting for a call back (3 days later) . I am gobsmacked at the poor customer service. Taking bets on whether or not I will hear back from them?

Home Clearance has the best service we have ever experienced with any business, and I am a business owner. I had the tv I purchased from them delivered to my Mum's address. They contacted us both the day before delivery to notify us and confirm delivery (the day after purchase). Early in the morning, the day of delivery, they informed us both of a two-hour window for delivery. Then notified us thirty minutes before their arrival. The two delivery operators were polite and efficient. I am so grateful for how they have looked after us, especially my 80+-year-old mother. This should be a model for all other businesses to follow. I bought a new oven with warranty that was just missing 4 screws and some pins to take off the oven door. I also bought a 2nd identical oven from Appliances Online. They were due to be delivered by the same truck on the same day. The Home Clearance one was not delivered. Customer Support had no idea where the oven was and after 3 days rebooked the delivery. I was later sent an email saying I could no longer have the oven as there is broken glass inside the package. They offered a refund but would not replace the oven and I am now $900 out of pocket having had to purchase another identical oven from Appliances Online.

Incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience dealing with Home Clearance. I've been a loyal customer of other companies in the Winnings group for a very long time now, and will continue to be, but Home Clearance have totally let their whole team down. I bought an appliance from them at the end of December. When I opened the box in the 2nd week of January I discovered that there was a sensor missing that effectively made the appliance unusable. I called immediately and the great team on the phone (who are NOT part the Home Clearance team) email Home Clearance and told me that someone would be in contact in the next few days. Since then I've called six or seven times. The call centre team have emailed Home Clearance at least that many times. Not a single response. Today I finally got sick of it (it's been about 8 weeks of trying) and asked for a refund. Also got told that that needs to be approved by Home Clearance. Who have up until now shown a complete inability to respond in any way to resolve this issue. I'm sure if you buy something that isn't missing parts that experience will be fine for you - they are part of a bigger organisation whose logistics team and communications are generally excellent. But if there's any problem with your order, heaven help you!
