Bruthen Inn Hotel

It is a country pub. I am a mature motorcyclist and I stayed in November with a couple of friends also riding. Good value and the food was quite good too. I'd definitely consider staying again. I've also been happy wit previous dining visits.

Amazing food great service hands down just a great pub

I popped in for a steak. My card declined and I had to use a whole pile of $2 coins, she smiled and genuinely seemed not to mind... I was $1 short and she let me off ( I did give her the dollar though as I located one more after she let me off).Friendly pub meal on a beautiful sunny spring afternoon. For a tragic personal reason today I was very, very sad, extremely so. Despite my depressed demeanour, i found the scenery and fresh air from the edge of the outdoor area relaxing and therapeutic.My poterhouse steak was excellent in taste and texture. The rest of the meal was standard pub fare... chips and veg with the standard packet mushroom gravy. If I had to be picky they should do a home made gravy as its easily frozen and served, but its not expensive for a quality steak. Will go back.Staff were very pleasant and genuine.

Went to the Bruthen Inn hotel tonight with my Dad, Partner and two young children. We got there at 7pm and we sat outside.I am so disappointed in the food and service. We waited an hour and a half to be served two cold parmas with raw vegetables and a half cooked chicken Kiev. My partner had eaten some of his kiev until he realised it was undercooked (the part he had eaten was the thinner more cooked part). We got my children a pizza to share and they didn’t get it until 8:40pm.I requested politely that this be fixed but it was meet with huffs and puffs. I then asked for a refund and the lady said she wouldn’t give a refund for the Kiev as it was half eaten. Even the the chicken was clearly severely undercooked. I was able to get a refund for one parma, but also some extremely rude remarks.Got told to enjoy my “holiday” even though my dad is a local in lakes entrance.Would not recommend unless you want Salmonella!!

Great old style pub- with separate bar and dining areas. Plenty of parking, although it’s a bit of an incline to the main door! Great food and the views from the ‘out back’ section (which is huge) are amazing.

Lovely pub. Friendly staff.Warm and inviting dining area.Kid and dog friendly. Large area out the back to sit and eat, overlooking the tambo river.Also looks like a stage area where they would have live music.Meals were good.

$7 for a soda water with bitters and when they brought out my $43 stake and veg no potatoes I was horrified. “See photos” When I mentioned it to the manager they did however offer me a free house red to tell me that’s our usual meal. Definitely will not be coming back.

My family and I ordered 2 pizzas and lamb cutlets. Not only were the cutlets the best I’ve ever had, the meal had 3 instead of the standard 2. The gravy was delicious and the pizzas were fresh out of the oven and my brothers words exactly were “This pizza was cooked by the hands of god”. I will definitely revisit this lovely establishment.

A great friendly country pub! Menu is good and had all the traditional pub favourites as well as a specials board with a few different meals. They also have an extensive pizza menu which is yum! The prices are reasonable for the quality and size..The meals are very generous, you will definitely not leave hungry!! A good honest little country pub with no fuss just good food and drink and sometimes entertainment out the back undercover, a great way to spend the arvo. Recommend a stop if you are heading through Bruthen

Headed out from Lakes Entrance to support some of the smaller townships around the area and as Bruthen Pub came up as dog friendly our group of 6 ( 1x dog ) thought we would do lunch while there, however when phoning this is not the case as the women who answered the phone preferred that we didn’t bring our dog because her dog was onsite & I said we’d already left and the dog was with us but she sounded very uninterested & abrupt on the phone, so we took our business to Buchan pub !!!
