Love their Monday $10 pizza special. The zucchini pizza is to die for! Apparently the other ones are really good too. Also ordered the potato croquettes and they were yummy as well. In addition there are some interesting beers on tap which I enjoyed. Will definitely return!!

Nice vibe usually. The parma was a let-down though. Dry. Dry and unmelted cheese under dry and sparce prosciutto. A couple of pieces of roast potatoes and dry slaw. You could do better, even on a specials night.

TLDR:Good pub food although long wait times and higher than expected prices cause for an ok dinner.Review:Good food, slightly pricey. At $99 for two people price is definitely up there but very tasty. Ordered a burger, steak and calamari with two drinks. Burger was good with nice patty and crispy bacon although chips were under seasoned causing them to be bland and unappetising. The steak was cooked nicely but chips had same issue. Calamari special was nice and sauce was unique. Finally, food wait was subpar, long wait time for 3 dishes when restaurant was not crowded was an issue. Would recommend to people looking for a decent pub meal while enjoying a game of pool and watching cricket or footy.

This place caters for everyone. Delicious meals. Vegan options that are so tasty. Has cosy atmosphere. Nice fire in winter. Pool table. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Will come back again.

Excellent beer and wine selection in a comfortable bar setting.The burger used to be a bit hit & miss but in recent years it’s really been improved, and the shoestring fries are perfection. Can recommend!

Always great to have a meal at The Empress. There's obviously some thought given by the kitchen in studding the menu with moderately priced, well-executed inventive dishes that provide something more than the predictable pub grub (although you can get that as well if that's your thing). Total quality in a relaxed environment.

Came here for Thursday night $30 bucket of wings, chips, and 2 pots - wings were awesome! Best wings I’ve had in Melbourne since arrived 6 years ago from U.S. Flavors were excellent, right amount of spice, and the blue cheese ranch was good compliment. Will definitely come back for the wings!

Fish & chips were unreal. Even came with a little salad (most places don’t do salad with fish n chips)Not to be missed!
