Woolworths Strathfield

It's a woolies. Parking in centre can be busy at weekend, but not a drama. Mainly self checkouts though, rather than having a good amount of staff on checkout..

One of the most unorganised store I ever visited.I was there around 6:30 pm and stockpiles were everywhere on the floor. I guess the staff doesn't care about their customers and their safety. Luck of management and lack of care, but obviously not customer care or service. I have taken a few photos to show, what is going on in the store. I hope someone will address this issue from the management level as I am sure this happening every day not just yesterday.

Good selection of products as you would expect. Usually good stock levels considering the current supply issues. The staff are usually friendly and helpful. My main complaint would be the restocking of shopping baskets and trolleys at the entrance. Often they are not available when entering the store.

I have developed a kind of Stockholm syndrome with this store. The only decent thing about this store is the convenient location which keeps getting me back. The store is horribly cramped. Be prepared to queue if you hit this place around 6pm on a weekday. They like to leave shopping trolleys of stock blocking registers that would be useful if they bothered to roster staff to operate them. Sometimes they even have registers open without staff operating them. Avoid this store if you can.

Really bad service. The first time ,I bought chicken wings, I said there are lots of feathers, the staff discriminated against me and asked me to buy chicken feet. The second time , I bought cover , The label showed me $13.5, but they charged me $15. When I backed to ask them, the label was changed. They said it is $15.

Located inside Strathfield plaza. Decent collection of consumer items. Special price offers available in selected items. Prices reasonable.

Neatly maintained shelves always. Friendly and efficient staff. Particularly now when sourcing for fruit and vegetables are tight... it has produce at its freshest best!

The interior of Woolworths is quite impressive due to its spaciousness, and I always have a pleasant experience shopping there. However, it seems that the staff are solely focused on their tasks and not giving enough attention to the customers. This may be because the store is always bustling with activity. It's unfortunate that during busy periods, you may struggle to find a trolley or a hand basket at the entrance, as they tend to be scattered around the store's exit or near the counter. It appears that the staff doesn't take the initiative to return them to their designated spots.

Quite a few empty shelves but trolleys don't need a coin and are plentiful. The store entrance is 20 metres from the exit and not conspicuous but once you know where it is the idiosyncratic store layout works reasonably well.

I had a very disappointing and unpleasant experience with your store today.I brought 24can coke to return due to the taste of the coke. As someone who drinks coke regularly, I would know the taste of the coke. The coke I bought from woolies tasted weird and different. I was hoping for an exchange. I was not even asking for a refund. My friends and I had drank 3 can of coke and everyone said it tasted funny. The team member who was at the service desk flatly refused saying “ once opened, we can’t refund”. I clearly told him I do not want my money back and this is a quality issue and yet he was not concerned at all. I requested for the store manager to come down and then the duty manager “SANJEEB” came and I voiced out my issue and he quoted to me “ due to Covid we can’t do return, if the seal is broken. And how are we to know if the coke tasted funny”.The duty manager acted so indifferent and unprofessional. As far as I know, this was a quality issue and should have been exchanged, as this awful coke could have affected our health.I don’t mean to be rude but the team members especially the duty manager, needs to understand the return policy thoroughly and deal with the customer professionally.
