Puppy school politely suggested that our enthusiastic labrador puppy might do better with some one on one training. They were right! Richard really helped us get the basics and more sorted in a fun, easy, calm manner in a very short space of time. We are so glad we enlisted his help! Thoroughly recommend.

Richard came out about a year ago and gave me a few tips on how to get my puppy to stop jumping and pulling and his advice worked a treat! I only needed one session!

Richard was professional, timely, organised and fantastic with our puppy. He explained everything well, and wrote everything down for us after each session (as well as providing additional resources) so that we could refer to these notes while we practiced throughout the week in between sessions. We saw improvements in our puppy's behaviour. I would highly recommend him!

We just completed Richards basic obedience course with our Australian Bulldog puppy. Our dog has responded really well to the training. The course has been very easy and very useful to implement in everyday settings and situations and with just the use of hand and voice commands and without the use of any gimmicky tools such as clickers etc which you are unlikely to be using in everyday situations. We would thoroughly recommend this service.

Richard from Doggonit dog obedience has really helped us get the most out of our dog Gus.We were recently lucky enough to adopt a 3 year Labrador from an animal shelter, with no collar or tags we didn't even know his name, so we called him Gus. Once he was settled in at his new home and we had taught him his new name we set about training him. But it has been a long time since we owned a dog and there is too much information out there on the subject and a lot of it is contradictory and very confusing.This is when we called Doggonit for help, and what a great decision we made. Richard came to our home and briefly assessed Gus and talked us through the training process, then we were off on a walk to our local park to begin. Richard's methods are very straight forward and easy to do and get fantastic results. Within a week Gus was loose leash walking perfectly, no more pulling! But this was just the start, over the course of 6 weeks the sessions we had with Richard introduced the most important obedience commands in a fun and interactive environment, you just cant get this from a book.We are very happy with the results and the week on week improvement in Gus' responsiveness and behaviour is an absolute joy.Thank you so much Doggonit!Paul, Jodie, Guy & Gus.

I have a very boisterous, independant and outgoing 16 month old labrador named Ryman who has never met a dog or person he doesn't immediately want to charge off after to become friends with!!. He has very selective hearing and 9 / 10 times found everything else more important than doing what he was told. We have just completed the 5 week 1 on 1 training with Richard and I couldn't be happier with the results. With his training and guidance he will come when called, sit and drop at a distance and heel. We can almost! walk past another dog now, which in itself is amazing! The extra training outside has also translated into a much better behaved Ryman when he comes inside.Thanks Richard, your help has been amazing, I can't recommend him highly enough.

We had a few behavioural issues with our two mini schnanuzers (barking at night, jumping, bad recall) and needed some help to fix them! We chose to take a short course with Richard, and not only did he help us address these issues, but he also reignited our our interest in training our dogs to do a range of tricks. Richard has a lovely rapport with the dogs and his kind, but persistent training methods have been very effective. We thoroughly recommend Richard to all dog owners looking for extra support in training, help with bad habits / bad behaviours and establishing a strong bond with their furry babies! Thanks Richard!

Richard did a really great job of training both Daisy and our family. From a boisterous puppy who was getting very mixed signals from all of our family to a contended dog and attentive family. I highly recommend his services.
