Had a rattle in the 66 mustang exhaust (my daily driver , had 24 years) . Been thinking of putting a performance exhaust system on it and decided now was the time (early Chrissie pressie!!) Trevor has been at this shop for over 4 decades and had the perfect custom mufflers for my car - exhaust note superb. Whole system expertly fitted , so clean and neat, cant thank Trevor, Pedro and Daniel enough, these guys are the real McCoy don't waste your time going elsewhere...great value too given the time expended on my car.. What a find to have been referred to Muffler Man, Prahran! After having been given the runaround by Peugeot Australia and then gobsmacked by their quote, I was lucky enough to find Trevor. Not only was the work first class, and done within a few hours (as opposed to the day plus quoted by Peugeot), the final cost was less than half what Peugeot quoted!Trevor and Jenny are total professionals, nothing is too hard for them to figure out and they are pleasant to deal with to boot! Unreservedly recommended.

I had my exhaust repaired here for $200 in cash before going on a road trip. It just simply required a bit of welding it back on at the very end of the pipe and maybe a bit of patching up further up. The chap at the front desk assures me he knew what he was doing as he had 20 years of experience and that his boys in the garage were good and altered the exhaust of my mitsubishi express to come out the side. Less than 2 weeks later part of the same part he had welded on had fallen off.When I called, he asked me to send a video. Then he claimed I must have hit a rock and that he could not tell if it was their part due to the camera (it was only their part of the pipe). I then had to go to another garage who fixed it for a fraction of the job for a much better price of $80 and the new mechanic welded slightly further up the exhaust, this job appears to have been much better and that these guys either could not diagnose problem or were incompetent and finding a solution but willing to charge high prices. It was only because I had no alternative due to the timing of my trip and when it broke.I would strongly advise against using this place if you have an alternative.

Trevor is a LEGEND. Knowledgeable about everything muffler related. Great advice for my Audi S1 & saved me $$$$'s creating a great exhaust sound.

Have been to the muffler man a few times over the years for towbars or exhaust work, they have great knowledge and options and very reasonable prices.. will be coming back again.
