Fees have gone from $5.99 to $7.99 and now $9.99. When questioned Deferit blamed inflation. This is not inflation, it’s exploitation. At $120 per annum, there’s better value in a credit card. Joshua@Deferit relished the opportunity to close my account. Thanks Joshua, I won’t be back.Edit: “we’re more than happy to close your account, we’re more than happy to reactivate your account”. What you’re saying is you’re completely ambiguous about my custom, in which case, why would I want to be your customer? Stop exploiting your customer-base with avaricious increases in fees.

EDIT!! 27/6/2023.I have just had a bill paid, gone back to check my account and Deferit have paid the whole bill as they approved it! PLUS $4.75 more than the bill amount! This was a large bill that I could just not afford right now, hence needing to use them!I have no way of getting to work at the end of the week as they won’t reply to my pleading messages. I’m devastated and cannot understand why this has happened. I have been an excellent customer. If not resolved and my money returned, this will be the last time I ever use them. Please reply Deferit! You have left me destitute!!*****************************************Since using Deferit and their services, my life has been so much less stressful. I can now relax when those unexpected costs arise during bill time, knowing I can defer my payment and pay it off gradually with Deferit.The service is amazing, easy to use and reminders are sent when payments are due.5 stars for helping me sort out my finances easier.

No phone number, when something goes wrong impossible to contact.. Tells you to fill out details below so we can transfer you to one of our Heroes right away, did that been waiting for a hero for over an hour now. That's no hero. Pathetic customer service

Had me do so much work with signing up, to entering my social security number, to not even allowing to connect my bank account. I've used PLAID before with many websites, but this company would not allow me to do so. Was looking forward to working with the company.

Liesssss opened account did not allow me to make 4 installment payments as the company promises literally told me after i signed up i have to unlock that feature ..why the hell would i use you..if i cant use you ..thats FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!!

Amended Review:I amended this review to reflect and educate people about this service. The way I see deferit is a godsend. I despise paying bills every month. I have two major expenses that takes chunk of my monthly salary. My insurance and my phone bill. My available credit is distributed to pay my two expenses for 2-3 months and I pay a small chunk of it every fornightly. That takes a load off and I can manage my wealth effectively. I have not paid my Telstra bill since December. Because it's already paid in advance. I wish people knew how valuable this service is and use it well. Thanks Deferit. You got yourself a lifelong customer.P.S.And please ignore Sean Hagan's review. That has no legs.

I regret using them they have taken a $300 bill and NOT REFUNDED me AND NOT BOTHERED TO CONTACT ME FOR DAYS . Despite 30 emails and messages. Never again . You can’t even call them .
