Model Railway for big kid's at heart, if you are interest Train World is the place to go to. Happy train cho cho. There is always new stock arriving, so you will have to be checking on line or in store monthly if you will.

Wide variety of stocks of locomotives, passenger cars, freight cars and structures, mainly HO scale. If you are a train model enthusiast, you can spend hours here. I was glad to find and buy a used pictorial book of A. T. & Santa Fe among the store’s plenty of railroad used book inventory. Will definitely come back to this wonderful model store next time I have a chance to visit Melbourne.

Fantastic place for all your model train needs. They stock mostly Australian some British and American locomotives and rolling stock, plenty of spare parts, scenery products and books.

Went down there for the first time in August last year to check it out. Extremely awesome place. Went there again on 27/02/23 to pickup a model steam locomotive that I had completed the laybuy for. The guys over there were extremely friendly and were quite easy to ask questions to. They even showed me my Steamer in operation which was really neat to see. We spoke a lot about trains and model railroading and which railroads we model in on our personal layouts - very interesting conversations.They've got a huge variety of American, Australian and European stock (in ho and N scale). They also have a huge variety of O scale stock as well (Which is very rare in Australia).Overall 10/10 experience and would highly recommend any model railroader in Melbourne to check out this store. Will definitely be coming back to this store and purchasing from them again in the very near future.Hats off to all of the TrainWorld staff for their awesome service both in store and on the phone

I will not be ordering anything from train world again, placed an order for a Broadway limited F7A/B unit in a certain livery, got told 6 weeks, that was 6 months maybe more ago, it's now December 22nd and when I asked them about it I was told it got sent by sea and not air.If I knew it would have taken this long I would have ordered it directly from the USA myself like I was intending to. It's now Christmas, I doubt I'll see the loco till next year, that's if they did order it in.If it was sent by sea it would have taken 45 days to arrive not 6 or 7 months.
