The Holroyd Centre

i recently organised and attended a year 10 student organised formal- the staff were so helpful and extremely accommodating with the planning organisation of this event i can not thank them enough. The staff were so friendly and made it so easy to organise. The venue is absolutely beautiful, with plenty of photo opportunities. The decoration of the room was perfect and exactly how we pictured it. The staff were so kind and friendly throughout the experience and the food was great. I can not recommend this centre enough they did an amazing job!!!

Discovered this beautiful place only recently and hosted our function there over the past weekend. The staff (Daniel, Narelle and Amanda) did an amazing job, meeting all of our needs and were so accommodating with our requests. The buffet was delicious and served by staff, thereby reducing the risk of cross contamination. My friends and family were blown away by the venue, the availability of parking, the food and the wonderful staff. Thank you so much Holroyd function centre for making our function so successful and memorable. I highly recommend this place to others!

Nice place hence the 2 stars, only downside was the staff was so rude. Old lady was yelling at her workers in front of guests, she also yelled at us to move out of her way, another worker, an old man refused to serve dessert to people because he thought we moved tables to get extra dessert, same man yelled at guests to move out of hall way. Do better or don’t host at all. Won’t be using this place again.

Staff was very rude and unprofessional. Yelling at their own workers and guests to move out of the way. Arrived late to the function and staff thought we haven’t been sitting in seats the whole night and wouldn’t give dessert. This specific staff member is an older man with a bald head. Shouldn’t be working so unprofessional. Would never recommend this place to anyone in the future!

To Dean, Narelle and Staff - We highly recommend The Holryod Centre for any type of event. We had our wedding reception there, to say it was the best day of our lives is an understatement. Our guests commented for days/weeks that our wedding was one of the best they had ever been to. From the food that was delicious and came out on time, to the MC/DJ, to the pyrotechnics used, to the service that was provided everything was 5 stars!Thank you so much Dean, Narelle and Staff for making our day so beautiful.

We had our wedding at the Holroyd Centre and the staff were absolutely amazing! Dean, Narelle and Amanda were all so helpful. They made time to meet with us regularly before our big day and they made great suggestions about how we should go about our buffet catering. Our room looked beautiful and we cannot thank them enough for what they have done. Highly recommend!

I held my wedding ceremony and reception at the Holroyd Centre in March 2021. This venue is beautiful, clean, spacious, newly refurbished and was convenient for my guests with heaps of free parking. We had the entire venue (2 floors) all to ourselves, so it was private and guests could move freely between the different areas.The staff at the Holroyd Cente are amazing. I can't begin to thank Dean and Narelle enough for the effort they put into planning my wedding. They pretty much planned and coordinated 90% of my wedding for me. They arranged a DJ, the MC, the catering, set up separate rooms for the reception and ceremony, found us a getaway car and also provided info on good suppliers that they had previously used. Dean and Narelle were super flexible with my changes of guest numbers, my decision to switch from the Holroyd Gardens to the indoor room and put up with my many, many emails with new questions and requests. The staff who helped serve food and drinks and set up the rooms on the wedding day were also very friendly and no problem was too big for them to handle.It was also much cheaper than other venues I had looked at. Being a council-run venue, they are not about making profit. They even offered a refund or postponement at no cost in case COVID-19 meant we couldn't hold our wedding on our chosen date.I'd highly recommend the Holroyd Centre to anyone looking to get married. My experience was truly second to none.

Great function venue. We've hosted a number of formal events using the services of the Holroyd Centre. They have a great team to help with all the details. The AV equipment is great and the food is excellent too.

We held our Wedding Reception at Holroyd Function Centre on Saturday 20th March 2021We were delighted with the service, food and staffing.From our first meeting with Dean - function manager he assured us that our guests will be looked after as we wanted and he and his entire staff delivered as promised.We believe that Holroyd Function Centre is on par with other up market weddings reception centers ( we have been to quite a few) and we would highly recommend Holroyd function Centre to anyone looking for a venue to host their function.Also thanks to Narelle for doing an amazing job with table decorationsHead chef Ros and team for our delicious meals and was just as beautiful as our taste testing menu..Thank you Dean and to all your staff for our wonderful wedding reception..
